Southampton/Brentford is quite the ideal draw. We might face either the Barcodes, Sparky's Team or either Bolton in the semis. If we face Arsenal, it would be great if we can beat them for the fifth time on the trot.

How have we beaten the Arse 5 games on the trot???? they beat us in the Charity Shield at the start of the season 3-1

according to the draw,if we win(which we will) against Brentford or soton' and asuming Arsenal wins v sheffield, then will we be facing the Arsenals again?:p
It would be fun to defeat them 5 times a season.

or will it be that the draw for semis will take place again?

The semis will have its own draw so we have no idea who United are going to face shall they reach the semis.

Let's concentrate on what's at hand first. If Southampton gets past Brentford, St. Mary's isn't an easy place to go to.

I didn't consider the Charity Shield as a competitive match.

Is it true that if United beat Arsenal again this season we get to keep them? :D :D :D

On a more serious note, I'm looking forward to the Milan games as United are bang on form at the moment and Milan seem to be stuttering in Serie A recently. Shevchenko's absence will hurt them, and while it's a boost from a United POV, I wish him a speedy recovery as he was very lucky to escape that impact from what they said in Italy, an inch higher would have hit him in the temple and killed him! So I'd love to see Sheva come back - next month!

And of course we've got our own wonderstriker back too ..... Altogether now.... "Ruud van Nistelrooy, tra la la la la":rockman:

Things are looking up for us lately, lets hope our team can do the business.:D

Even if we can't win the EPL, I wouldn't mind a FA Cup/Champions League double. :hump:

I heard Sheva is back from injury and should start this evening...not good if that's true. Still, I'm confident we get something positive from the game. Hope we don't concede a goal that could turn out bad for us but we'll just have to wait and see.

United vs AC

Just saw the AC game, WTF is with Carroll, Thats not the kind of ball you catch !! Why didn't he just punch it. Roons had a lackluster game and I felt Ronaldo shouldn't have been taken off and Silvestre even though he was a substitute played like crap.

Silly goal to give away, I am very sick by this why both our keepers like to let the ball slip through their grasp and fumble it everytime in the CL. :(
