Exactly.

Same for me who the hell should i support? My city has no professional teams and the closest one is Toronto Lynx, so i should support them? :kader: . what's the fun form that, when they don't even have rivalaries or anything. You can't even get relagated or invest into the future, cause the league owns everything.

Glory hunter is a person that switches favourite teams constantly. Say he supports Milan one year and the next he starts support Real Madrid, after they win CL and La Liga for example. That's a glory hunter. I a person pays hundreds and thousands of dollars to get involved with the club and supports them through good and bad times, then he is a fan, even if he never saw a game in real life. I support United and i have never saw one game of them in real. But what can i do? I can't just buy a ticket and leave Canada. My parents will never let me, so the only choice i have is buy their shirts and merchandise. Plus if every fan would support only their home town team, then teams like Juventus, United, Real, Bayern etc. would have never been that good. Especially with United, where they make enormous amounts of money from selling merchandise to people like me. So it's either a glory hunter is a person that switches teams or like ryan_goal said a person that supports a team, from a city where he wasn't born. But then if it's a second option, then we have about 80% of fans in the world that a glory hunters, which would make that term be in no way an insult. So it is the first one.

the posts above my last one you guys suck, look at my situation, I've been a Steaua Bucharest fan for as long as I can remember, now I live in the USA but I tried and I found all types of ways to still keep in touch with the club (sattlelite dish, online radio, romanian newspapers etc...) oh and they're not doing so good on the big stage at the moment either but I don't care it's just tought times every team has them, **** look at Man Utd now. Shame on some of you people :nape:

Getting back to the topic...

I can't really see what's going wrong with United to be fair.

Statistically it would point to the defense. Since Ferdinand started his ban 2 months ago we've gone from being 5pts clear of unbeaten Arsenal to 12pts behind. From being the team with the meanest defense to a team that is suspect at the back.

Look at the league table... It shows that we've 3 goals less than Arsenal but we've shipped something like 15 more. That must be near 15 more in 2 months. That's tells me that that is where the problem lies.

Watching the game yesterday I thought we actually played well up until the 3rd goal. To be honest, up until the 3rd goal there was only 1 team in it and the likely outcome was going to be a United equaliser and then who knows. Then Silvestre made a defensive cock-up and it was all over.

It was only after then that City looked at all dangerous, in their hoofing it clear towards 2 defenders way.

I saw headlines like 'Sizzling City...' etc. To be fair, City weren't sizzling, they weren't even that good. It's just we couldn't finish our moves and we made mistakes at the back.

Look how many times the ball flashed accross the face of City's goal and no-one stuck a toe on it. Ronaldo hitting the bar with an amazing shot... It just wasn't hapening.

We've been poor for a couple of months, but we're starting to play better and we're just not getting any luck other than bad luck.

This season is all about the FA Cup now, and refinding our form. If we can beat Arsenal in the FA Cup, and start playing proper football again then I'll be happy. Arsenal have all but wrapped up the league.

Next season I don't think we need a radical overhaul. That happened last summer. We need some re-inforcements, particularly in defense, and I wouldn't mind seeing 1 creative forward minded player coming in. But this season has given the new players a chance to get a taste of United life, and few of them have delivered. Next season the ones that the jury is still out on must deliver. The 3 that have impressed imo are Howard, Ronaldo and Fletcher. Of the others Djemba looks good enough but just hasn't had the games and I'm unsure about Klerberson.

We need a solid back line, and that will only come if we can consistently play the same players together for a lot of games.

true these news lads need to have a few matches to come to terms with the top and mid way premiership clubs then maybe they'll settle. Ferdinands gonna be a while returning so we must think of something. Hopefully something good enuff to put us back on top.

And as for this
"**** look at Man Utd now. Shame on some of you people"

I dont really think we need any defensive reinforcements in the summer with Rio coming back.

We mostly need someone more creative with Ruud upfront, or a creative midfielder.

Who cares if Man U doesn't win everything in one season. Thank God if you ask me. They will bring in some people in the Summer, probably big names, and they will be back to normal. They will get Rio back, they should bring in Ayala, or even that fellow from Barca.. Puyol. They need a second quality striker, and Saha was a waste of money in my opinion. They should have signed Robben...

Ronaldo isn't ready yet, and I think Kleberson is. Djemba looked great in that Porto game last week and he was subbed. Fletcher isn't ready yet either... They lost alot with Veron and Beckha, leaving. Veron was class, even though most fans didn't think so.

Either way, they might stomp Arsenal in the FA Cup and the final should be a walk.

Ronaldo is young, but he is ready. At least every time he plays he has 80% of getting MOM or even more. It's like you ask for players to pass it to him, so he can do some good chances or interesting plays that you might enjoy. And he does them!

I don't think that United will buy any star in summer. Not a big name at least.

And Saha is i think 23 and he pretty good and hard working, he just got a bit of a knock, that's why he is not playing, but apart from that he already has 17 goals in EPL. He will definietly be good in 2-3 years.

Ronaldo is more than ready, I'll say he has been our best player this season apart from Howard. He is definately has a chance at winning the PFA Young Player of the year award. His performace yesterday was amazing, very unlucky not to have scored two goals and also helped set up Scholes's goal. Its scary to think how good he will be in another 2-3 years.

I just hope he stays with us for at least another 10 years.

And Help? I feel if we dont at least win the FA Cup heads will roll and I definately see a big name coming to Old Trafford in summer, or at least i hope.:p
