THIS IS NOT ABOUT what teams u think i support and how many glory hunters there are in the football world.
Devil look laddy im a man utd fan too and u say no **** to me u cheeky little bastard u post in some other thread if you want to get cocky.
I do not support Real madrid at all....
I like there kits and i like there players so i take an interest that doesnt make me a glory hunter i have never in my life watched a real madrid match apart from the 1 vs munich because it was a champions league match. So dont judge me!
Look devil u seem so upset about a feckin football club well calm down and lets hope man utd progress better and not acknowledge the amount of tears u start shedding in my thread.

lmao.:funny:

Where was I crying?:(

And there are 2 types of glory hunters:

1. Those who admit themselves are glory hunters, like me.

2. Those who don't and feel superior to other glory hunters, like...err...

Feel free to categorize yourself.

i support bolton, but they aren't my hometown team (DC United). does that make me a gloryhunter. Btw, I do support DC United. I couldn't imagine not supporting your hometown team

Uhhhh, you have the Real madrid crest in your sig.
And you say we lost the plot?
Then you are a glory hunter.
Where's your belief?
You're faith?
Some united supporter you are.

I suppose in a way theres nothing wrong with supporting your local, small team ( though for me United is the out and out only one) but supporting or being a fan or taking an interest in two big teams such as United, Real, Juve, AC Milan etc that doesn't enable you to call yerself a real Manutd fan.
A real fan doesn't care about other teams. Having said that, it doesnt mean you can't watch them, I like watching other teams in CL football or La Liga or Serie A highlights, but I don't have my favs there and I certainly don't ponce around with a United and Real or, Juve badge in my sis

Supporting your hometown team is cool, so do I. Yet it has nothing to do with whether or not being a glory hunter, as long as you support another team also.

True Bolton is not a big club, but you must support a club with at least one reason. It could be that you think they play good football, or you actually enjoy the moments when a club like Bolton beat a club like ManUtd, etc... this is "Glory" in a different sense IMO. Therefore yeah, you fall well into the category of a glory hunter. Just that I think you are a higher class and more respectable glory hunter than most ManUtd fans are. But well, if you are gonna tell me you support Bolton for no reasons, you are more pathetic than a glory hunter.

What if you supported a team before your hometown got a team?

My town had a few teams go to the wall, got another one in 93 (who i go see from time to time) that's about to go to the wall.

That would make my local team Atlanta, Wilmington and DC....and everyone in those towns can fornicate themselfs with an iron stick.

What does that make me?

LoL Peries rezpect :hump:

I dont have chance to watch my favourite team play all the time i have only ever been to 1 man utd match against derby and i was in the derby stand rooting for man utd because i cudnt get a man utd ticket ? does this mean im a traitor not in my eyes it doesnt, I am a full Manchester United fan and always will be no matter what happens, if i wasnt then why would i say i am.

And to the guy who posted on the other page who actually watched the match you also realise what this thread is about Thankyou. (H)

Hopefully Man Utd can pick things up within the next few games and i prey that arsenal and chelsea get a good thrashing by the bottom premier ship teams but i doubt it

My home town team is Leyton Orient, West Ham and Spurs. I support Spurs and Leyton Orient (going for trials there), but West Ham=:sb9:

In my opinion, some people are been too harsh. I can´t see nothing wrong with liking for a club based two thousand kilometers from your country, and even supporting it at their domestic competitions. It´s natural as well to support a big national club and the small third / fourth division club of your town, which has little chance of getting any significative title (quite frequent in Brazil).

As for the thread actual discussion, it´s clear that if ManUtd lost 4-1 to Man City and got out of CL losing to Porto, they have lost their plot (perhaps they can find it again).

edit: also, this is a little off-topic sorry.

Yes ManU has lost the plot.

I hope they can regain it next season if they fail there mission this season.

The least Man Utd should get this season is the FA Cup but if they dont get that i dont blame them theyve had a unlucky season.
