Nasri plays behind the striker when Cesc is injured you arrogant uninformed dip****. When all three are healthy he's been playing on the right wing. For example against Man City, Villa, Spurs, Everton, Chelsea (in October when Cesc was injured and DIABY was preferred behind the striker), and... what's that team, oh yeah MANCHESTER UNITED JUST A ******* MONTH AGO, all this season.

Theo Walcott was starting on the right before he got injuried back in September. After that it took him a while to come back and fully regain his form. After the resurgence back in December, I don't think Theo will be missing too many more games this season.

First you said, Nasri plays on the left, then on the right. Dude, atleast get your opinion straight.

IMO this is Arsenal's starting eleven

----------------Almunia---------------
Sagna - Koscielny - Vermaelen - Clichy
----------Fabregas or Diaby/Song------
---Fabregas or Diaby/Song----Nasri----
Walcott----------------------Arshavin
--------Chamakh (prolly RvP now)------

But i'm still confused over what's your lineup. In either case, United's starting eleven is far better than Arsenal's.

Tott has been the better side. But don't forget that we have a history of playing worldclass football in the second half against Tott.

I don't understand why Nani came off. I know he hasn't impressed. But now we are playing with 4 central midfielders :willis:

Told you about Rafael.

Great, our greatest threat is gone.

Its like our unbeaten record prevents the team from realizing that they should be performing much better.

1 point is a good result considering its Tottenham and we had 1 player sent off. We are still on top with 2 games in hand. Disappointing performance. Ando should've started and we badly need Park/Valencia back.

Our defensive performance was very impressive, going forward was too slow though. Vidic and Rafael were MotM for me, Hernandez had a good spell as well. Looking at how the game went, a point is a decent result. Mike Dean spoilt the game..... how the hell can you give a yellow card for Rafael's second "challenge"? That was very very very soft.......besides that a huge amount of challenges went into Spurs' favour, they got a freekick for almost any challenge our boys made.......

Yeah, with one of those two we could have had a lot more of speed going forward....

Rafael was brilliant and not one word of praise from the commentators. It was all about bale when he did fck all. Wankers to the core. Vidic was just a beast. I cant think of a better defender in the premier league at the moment.

Still unbeaten after all that smack talk by spurs before the match. I thought bringing nani off was a mistake. We didnt look threatening after that.

VanTheMan

You'd better behave yourself this time!
mistakes :
Nani off
Dean sending off Rafael
4 Central Midfielders WTF ?

I feel we're sitting too much on the unbeaten run....had it not been der..we wld have gone gung ho

I didn't get to watch the game unfortunately, and while I was obviously hoping for a win, I wouldn't consider myself upset at the result. It was always going to be difficult going into White Heart.

Next two Premiership games are against Birmingham and Blackpool, so if we are in good form I think we should take full points.

Regarding Theo, we'll see. Might be a case of all of those players will so rarely be healthy at the same time that it won't much matter. I invite you to look through my posts and point out where I ever said Nasri played on the left wing; perhaps you are dreaming about me?

Yeah my bad. You just said that he plays on the wing, which I figured you meant left since Walcott has the right wing pretty much locked down considering that he scored like 5 goals in 4 games before getting injured at the start of the season. And given that Nasri did play on the left a few times when Arshavin wasn't fit, i figured that's what you meant. But that's too many assumptions, either way no matter where we put Nasri, United's lineup is still better.

I don't know, I think where Arsenal is worse than you (wings, defense) the gap isn't that large, but the gap is ENORMOUS in the center of the field. What's your best lineup? Fletcher and Scholes maybe? Compared to Cesc, Song, and Nasri/Wilshire that's just no contest. But whatever, I said you guys were a better team as a whole.

Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes should be backup players in a team like ours TBH. If you looked at Tottenham today, they had Palacios, Modric and Van Der Vaart in midfield, and we had Fletcher and Carrick. Thats way better than ours.

Players like Gibson should be kicked out. We should sell him now while he's still worth something. His long range efforts could easily get us 5-8 millions.

Players I wish we'd go for:
- Marek Hamsik. Didn't watch him much but he has a very good goalscoring record for being a midfielder. Besides, he's an all round central midfielder, perfect for 4-4-2. We could get him at a good price considering he's playing for Napoli. He's scored like 9-12 league goals a season at Napoli. That would be a big plus.
- Steven Defour. Quite young. Creative and can play as a deep lying playmaker or attacking playmaker. Also ideal for 4-4-2.

But whatever I say, I know Fergie will make the right decision in the end. I see Anderson as a starter in the future, but he needs a partner. Fletcher is very good IMO but a team like United needs a better CM because CMs play a crucial part in the game.
