Well Marin sucked in Germany, so if he succeeds in the EPL it's more evidence that the English league is getting worse.

From my understanding he stagnated, but in preseason he looked very lively. I think he could get backbto a good level.

Yes, tell me about my own club, please. He has just recovered from injury and that's why he was only on the bench. RDM was then chasing the game and decided to play Hazard instead. RDM rates him, and he'll likely feature this week with Mata carrying a knock and needing a rest.

Marin started in our League Cup match against Wolves.

yeah, shame, he's career is almost over :(

I think a good strong defender would be a priority this January ...

We currently have 4 players injured. 3 of these are central defenders.

I think we definitely need a new defender. I think Ferdinand and Vidic are not over yet... Vidic is IMO still at his best and Ferdinand is past his peak but still reliable when partnered with Vidic (he sucks with Evans). However, we can't rely on the fitness of these 2 anymore. Everytime at least one of them is injured.

If we buy a defender, there is no point of buying another young defender because we already have 3 good defenders for the future. We need someone with experience.

Oh yeah he was a legend. My Man Utd fan friends always used to ask me if I could have one United player for Chelsea who would it be and I would always say Vidic, then I would ask them the same question in reverse and they would always say Essien........ so sad :(
