Ace, I like idea of playing with 3 defenders and CDM as a safe break. On this way you get more attacking style, but I think that this strategie can be very tricky. First, in this kind of formation you can play very dominate football with many goals, but on other hand defense with only 3 players has it's disadvantages. :icon_spin:

If you play against team with strong wings and strikers you can easily gain goal, cause 3 defenders can't cover wings and center of the box effectively in same time, especially if you play with improved gameplay patch of Fidel, Reg or Erevos, on legendary. But, this is only my opinion. I will try it, so I could be able to tell more. :)

I like classic 4 defenders with LB and RB who can support my wings by breaking the opponent flank. Matadoor's strategie suits me, and I use it regularly with my default Arsenal. :clapwap:

Guys, I have only few matches left in manager mode, so after that I will probably wait for Demo and then full version. Plus my exams are starting tomorrow... :-(

@Ace , actually when you play with an RB /LB in a 4 defender style for i.e
4-3-3 formations , the way i use it the 2 RB/LB's goes forward as i have in those posetions alves + bale and sub for them Rafael+ adriano
so they are not just RB/LB everyone of them can be a wing , so i dont have to put them exactly in mid to let them become so ,when my RW/LW go forward too much those RB/LB cover them and give them support when its hard to get in the box , because am not one to make alot of cross's and shooting from outside i use possession so much i dont care if i win 1 or 2 i care about possession and passing my max possession so far was against man utd and i had it 85% with 82% passing
so my point is if you really want a strong midfield that can have the highest possession use 4-3-3 and you're still gonna have the strongest attack support , but if you want a midfield that can do everything , use 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 i'd do myself for 4-5-1
as i'd have
DEF:RB-CB-CB-LB
MID:RM-RCM-CDM-LCM-LM
ATK: ST
my suggestions for such plan you'll need some really excellent players when i use that plan i use it like so
RB:Alves // CB:Pique//CB: Puyol(M.Hummels)//LB: Bale-Coentrao-Adriano
RM: Fabregas/RCM:Xavi//CDM:busqeuts//LCM:Iniesta//LM:Thiago * you can put iniesta and thiago in each others posetion
for attack use any attacker you trust :) i put messi or neymar
butyou'll be messing alot of attack , i have in attack messi/sanchez/neymar and high sub for those attackers .. in a season i had messi and xavi and neymar three of them injured at 2 matches that made them unable to play for 14 weeks ... anyway i see you love thiago and i do so ! aswell as all the new players in barca but thiago specaily i trust he'll be more than just a xavi with ally my love to xavi !

i bought wilshere now and he's so cool ... the thing i have now the strongest midfield and getting possession is becoming so easy -.-" with such talented midfielders you donnt need a defence or attack !! :D

Ace my willian is black xD but yes i have scout at level 10 , i dont remeber if i made scout to america or not , i just searched in transfer window and found him not really sure but he has all messi's skills !

put him as a centre forward behinad a LS or RS or ST......attack:high,defence:Medium
plus no CM put a CDM...otherwise they will overlap!!
