Lol yeah even a reserve United team should have beaten them. It is the first game after a while though. Players just came back from vacation, so no need to panic. Kagawa, De Gea and van Persie will join the tour later on. Rooney is injured. Chicharito won't join I think. Therefore we had only Welbz as striker for that game. Januzaj played as second striker.

I didn't watch that match but watched some highlights. For those of you who don't know Januzaj, here is a video of him against Singha all stars:



Looks promising. Quick and smart but definitely needs to bulk up. This is against a crappy team though.

even zaha was looking sharp....almost scored the equaliser..but i respect moyes....man utd is lacking a talented playmaker...(thiago) would be a gem for man utd...Welbeck had worst game...had so many chances to score..and last season he said"fergie is not letting him play as ST..bitch that is d reason"...he is not a player of utd standards..bcoz he is english..he is here....he is BLACK but not a BEAST...he should be sent on loan...

Did you know that last season of ALL strikers at EVERY SINGLE premier league club, Welbeck had THE worst goals per minutes return. Worse than the guys at QPR.

I am a huge fan of Zaha, I think he could be great. Hope he declares for England and not Ivory Coast.

ya mahn i know...The last goal welbeck scored was against real madrid(the header as far as i can recollect)...after every 12-15 games he can score a goal...and he still wants to play ST

Yeah well, we never actually saw a sign that we're actually after him. I think Moyes and the Glazers knew we wouldn't have had a chance to sign a Barca player.

I disagree, Fabregas is a world class player, still not particularly old, in a position you desperately need. He also has experience working with and supplying goals for your best player, RvP. He would be the perfect signing for you if you could pull it off.

No chance we will sell Fabregas after Thiago has gone. I feel Villanova is bringing Cesc back to the center so Thiago was worried he would be 4th string in those 2 spots. Xavi is not gonna be able to play all year anymore and we compete on 3 fronts, but Thiago didn't want to be back up of back up :(

It was a close call between keeping Cesc or Thiago but I knew 1 would go, not both.

Why do we want Fabregas now that they just sold Thiago? Barca is not stupid. This transfer will never go ahead unless the player himself pushes for it (which won't happen because Barca is Fabregas's boyhood club).

If we are really interested in Fabregas, terrible timing to make a bid. We should have made a bid just when the transfer window opened. Maybe if Fabregas left, Thiago would have been reassured of more playing time and would've stayed.
