Top notch stuff, you really have mastered this technique like no other.

Mmm, there's something about the face that looks a bit odd but I can't quite tell what it is.
Anyway here is the next update. There will be 2 more updates after this one for the other face and the trees and it will be done.

Do you put a layer over it, then start to make it? or do you just glance at it occasionally. Looks awesome so far though.

No I don't just paint over the original picture. They are in 2 different windows and I just glance at the original picture occasionally but I use a grid to get all the positioning right.

Your re-created face is a little longer, that's why it looks a tad different

Thanks Phil, also I think maybe because the trees are still missing from the background that it makes the 2 heads look different.

Mmmm, but thats not really the point The whole idea is to make it look as real as possible.

OK, I just finished the guy on the right. Now just gotta do the trees which I think will definately be the toughest. (Thats why I left them til last).
