Yellow Card
Chelsea 1 - 1 Liverpool (Terry 1-0, Gerrard 1-1 --> just like old times)

I'm satisfied with the result. It was at Stamford Bridge, so we never really stood half a chance of winning anyways.

As far as the manager goes, it is too soon to give up on Rodgers. You have to give him atleast one more year, probably 2.

You know it is funny that people are saying Rafa Benitez should be brought back now. It's too late. If you bring him in, then he too will need around 4 years to build up a team capable of contending in the EPL.

Brendan Rodgers needs to find a replacement for Gerrard and Suarez. Sturridge will help, but one more player is needed - maybe Andrea Pirlo will be that guy. Who knows!

I would prefer to stand by Rodgers now. He needs some more time. You just can't jump from one manager to the next for fun.

Fergus did very little at ManU before 1992, yet they kept him.

I have never seen a Liverpool as good as last year in the EPL so I agree that you need to stick with him. I think he is good at tactics for the most part but he's poor when it comes to signings. He has had a few very good ones like Coutinho and Sturridge but he has signed too many expensive overrated players. Could be his lack of experience managing a big club. He has won nothing at all as a manager.

Oh yeah, definitely keep him. Liverpool in general sign badly of late, kenny and Roy signings were as bad as Brendan's.

The first I remember watching him was this cracker he scored against us in 2001:

I started seriously following Man Utd in 2001. I did not experience the 1990s including the 1999 treble. I didn't watch football at all then, just WC or Euro finals.

Yeah mine too, or at least one a lot like that. I started practicing long shots in 2001 because of Gerrard.

I used to love playing with England in PES (PES 6?) because of Gerrard Lampard's and Rooney's long shots from midfield and Beckham's freekicks. That was in 2006 I think.

It's because in your heart you know that real football is a man's game where you rely on physicality and long passes and crosses, lots of crosses.

Sterling is asking for £150,000 a week salary from Liverpool. What an ass. He is far from a worldclass player but he thinks he already is. Part of this is because he has been overhyped everywhere especially the English media. Looks like he may be on his way out and I wonder which team would be willing to offer him that much. He is too ugly for Real Madrid so that's out of question.
