End of the transfer window, and we've signed a reserve keeper who was already with us on a loan, a Brazilian striker no one's ever heard of, even in Brazil, and a player Man City didn't want to sign....

Torres and Gerrard unavailable for the match against the Mancs...

Surely if we win that we can go all the way! (though I can't see that happening)

Depending on whom you believe, Fernando Torres is 2nd or 3rd on Manchester City's hit list....behind CR7 but either ahead of, or behind, Fabregas.

I'm not too concerned about lack of transfers.....it's better not wasting big amounts of money than doing so and getting guys to play out of position because we've already got a long of players doing so. Health is the real issue right now and that's the main thing I'm concerned about....

Be afraid.

Be VERY afraid.

Haha. Torres and Gerrard might look alright in light blue. That Mascharano chap looks alright too.

Newbie, I believe Liverpool bought around 10 new players this season. Quite like last season, many ins and many outs.

So, what do you guys - The Liverpool fans - think about Rafa leaving Hyypiä out of the CL squad, without even talking or telling to him about it personally.
In my opinion, he isn't as good as he used to be, but he has almost become a legend, being nothing but faithful to the club, always giving his all. If Benitez thinks, his time is up, he should atleast talk about it with Sami. You can imagine how hard it feels for him to hear about something like this on the papers for the first time. :$

I hadn't heard about it, but if it's true... well... Sami surely deserves better than that. Of course, it should be the manager deciding his squad for whatever competition, but he should at least talk to the players before he takes his actions.

Finally a win over ManU, after FIVE straight losses. The crucial point to be taken is that we beat the two time defending champions, and best team in Europe, without either of our two best players--Gerrard and Torres.....how impressive is that!!!

Hats off to you Lot. You gave a great effort during the Second Half and it showed who wanted to win the match more. Good Game.

Who was guy that dribbled down the right during the second goal? Kuyt picked it up and passed it to Babel, but who was the one with the ball before that?

Help?

Gerrard was on the field by the time Babel scored ;)
