If youve got the space, get a normal monitor tbh imo i think they're no where near as good as normal monitors, ok if you havent got the space for a normal one yeah, but if you have they're a waste of money

im just saying that a decent normal monitor with top spec is at least half the price of the LCD version so why waste your money?!?!

just get a Samsung, Hitachi or NEC monitor with lesss that 25ms response time and you will be fine.

NEC MultiSync LCD1760V has a response time of 16 ms.

its a great monitor.

I havent seen them around aus yet but i'll keep a look out for it, i really want to get either the Samsung SyncMaster 172X or the Hercules ProphetView 920 Pro DVI, what you reckon about them yash?

get the Samsung (Y) we have 12 of those in the library and they are GREAT !

oh F U C K that, would they notice if you stole one? :D When using the Samsung SyncMaster 172X how'd it perform in diffrent tasks like watching a movie, playing games, unless you aint aloud to do that $hit on the computers :D Like gimmie a small review on features you liked and disliked, it would be great help towards me buying one :D

well i have watched movies on it but i haven't played any games on it.

Scrolling is generally an eyesore with LCD monitors, but its surprisingly smooth on the Samsung one.

Movies look good on it too. No problems whatsoever.

you won't be dissapointed. It will work great with your Radeon 9800 pro.


i think its pretty expensive ... something like 500 USD... thats around 1000 Australian dollars ..
