Last movie you watched

I watched first season of The Simpsons. It was mostly about domestic problems with not that much humour I expected. Also the graphic part looks much different than in the next seasons. Now I'm going to see season number 2.

Smith is obviously ftw, but the ending...i reeaaally don't know about the ending..

yeah, from what I've been reading, alot of the fans of the book felt that they completely destroyed and ruined the ending of the movie....that's what's been keepin me back from seeing the flick. I mean, I don't care to read the book myself, but when I hear from credible sources that they deliberately butchered the last act, I'd rather not bother with it, you know? If I happen to come across it while it's on the Tee, or someone has got it popped in the DVDplayer, then sure, I'll give it a chance then.


btw, is it true that at one point, he sings a Marley tune to his dog?

Fincher rules, eh? Great cast......especially Downey, eh?, and also that menacing lookin mother****er that they suspected was the Zodiac killer. Anyway, I forgot that it came out just this past year.....highly underappreciated, I think.

the fact that the movie got worse when other than him or the dog were on screen should tell you something..

But that might speak more to the movie being poorly directed and the screenplay not being adapted from the book with the care and sensitivity necessary to make the movie more complete than to Will's appropriateness for the role? I'm just speculating, you know? I haven't seen the movie, let alone read the book, bro.

oh I didn't read the book either, but I don't feel like there would be anyone better than Smith for this...I mean, you can argue that there are better actors, technically and ****, but you cannot argue against the fact that, poorly directed/adapted or not, Will Smith is probably the best man for the job

everytime that I see that little logo at the beginning of a flick, I'm rest assured and confident that what I'm about to watch is gonna be atleast moderately decent....probably the best specialty/arthouse company around today, man....I've yet to view a ****ty Focus Feature distributed flick.

Saw Eastern Promises the other day. Loved it. Great story and Viggo Mortensen was great. Haven't seen him that good in years.

haha that's funny you should post this because I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday! I was really bored yesterday (on my winter break from work right now) and decided to watch a movie when that Focus Features logo showed up on the screen as I was flipping channels..

So I stopped and it turns out the movie 'Swimming Pool' was starting, I'd heard of it but never seen it. Turned out to be a pretty good movie, definitely unique. It was a pleasant surprise, that's for sure.
