I am indeed.

You know it's quite a "culture shock" at first when coming back here after being away for awhile for quite a bit, in larger, or should I say major cities. But I'm quite good at adjusting when it comes to different envoierments.

You're spot on. I think I need to relocate. But at the moment I want to be found so this makes no sense at all, as does the fact that I want to pay the yay dude whom I cannot reach for some peculiar reason. But hey! I've still got my booze and painkillers, so it's fine. I don't even feel like snorting at this point, but still having some laying around wouldn't be bad at all, for future.

Hahaha.. You're funny.. Sarcasm at its best. Anyway why the hell not? I'll do it, considering my expertise when it comes to tactics and players.

EDIT: I haven't checked all the threads yet, just one. But this sounds awful a lot like you're just campaigning for my vote at this point! Xifio-esque.

Well.. Fuck 'em..

I was in the western area of Belgium near the French border. Chimey beer factory or something like that.. Wearing a Colombian jersey (Copa America one 2015).. A guy approached me said something in Spanish (Colombian dialecent)... Basically he asked me where in Colombia I were from, saying that he was from Bogota.. I told the guy that I'm not Colombian.. The guy laughed, but from his stance I could tell that he appreciated the fact that I was wearing the jersey.

When he departed the bar, the guy shouted "VIVA COLOMBIA", which I did too..

Anyway the point is that you don't see this kind of thing too often, which makes my mission to visit your beautiful country even more desparate haha.

I would gladly drink with you, would be interesting. The war is over finally so there's one less excuse to not come here.

I'd visit only to see with my own 2 eyes a man hitting a donkey doggystyle because only reading about it makes it hard to believe.

Bunch of weirdos. Who the fuck prefers a donkey instead of a beautiful woman? Haha, I just remembered one time drinking a friend invited a person from the coast(don't know the term), he told us how much it meant to him his first donkey, and how common it was there, he even told us they could share one, I had to drink a lot in order to not think about that the rest of the night.

Good, so I'll give you a call once I finally happen to get over there.

Yup I've followed the news about the peace agreement between the Colombian government and FARC so that's very good for the country as a whole I suppose.

But major cities were safe from them anyways, no? I thought they mostly resided in the north or the northern-east side of the country?

South and south-east mostly. And yeah, you won't see the war happening in the big cities, but you know, the perception of foreign people is that Bogota is a warzone and that we live like in the XIX century with bullets and explosions all over the place. And that you will see in the streets people, kids and everyone snorting cocaine and smoking marijuana

Well you don't live in such envoirment anymore, luckily.

Stuff that you said might be a ceneral conseus in smaller pueblas.

I hate when people bring out stereotypes about Colombia as idiots associate it automatically with blow. Pisses me off. Your country doesn't even produce the most of blow anymore, Peru it is.

I'm geniunely interested in Colombian culture, but that sort of thing mostly goes on in paisas and barrios as the local saying goes.

But come on let's be reasonable, both yay and weed aren't that dangerous drugs. It all comes down to doing similar stuff in moderation.

By the way if my lifelong dream should actually capitalize at some point, which cities would you recommend in Colombia? Bogota is the capital but I've heard that it's not that interesting. I've thought about cities like Medellin if you want to get by the sea, Cartagena or Baranquilla.

Anyway if the day comes and I should manage my pipe dream of visiting COlomia, I'll let you know.

EDIT: Excuse my English right now I'm on a proper roll, lol.

Medellin is the most tourist friendly place you can go to, it's beautiful, full of nice people, transportation is great, it's clean, a bunch of cool places to meet, and the eye candy, you can't go further than a block without watching some tasty assess, ridiculously beautiful women there, the food is one of the best in the whole country, you can't leave without eating a 'bandeja paisa' and of course, a paisa as well ;)

You would visit Bogota for the museums, concerts, nocturne life, stores, there are really great places here you would really love, like 'El chorro de Quevedo', it's a place where people go to listen stand-up comedy in the streets, they sell wine in little containers, there are groups of people drinking and talking, also pubs, I fucking love going there. There are free music events everywhere, nice bars, and you have easy access to nearby small towns which can have unique experiences. The caveats are that transportation is awful, people can be very rude and you can get mugged if you choose the wrong place to go to. I haven't been enough time in Cartagena/Barranquilla/Santa Marta which are the beach places to tell you what to do there, the best beaches are in Santa Marta, in Cartagena there are great tourist places, like the San Felipe castle, the Rosario islands, and some cool others.

But to me the most fun you would get visiting Colombia would be in the small towns, the architecture is so unique, people are so damn nice, amazing natural locations, rich and different foods, there are little towns that feel taken straight out of a page of 100 years of solitude, it's Colombia at its best in my opinion.

Edit: Cali is also a beautiful place, place of music and partying, I've been there only once but it's a really nice place especially for a party animal like you, food and desserts are amazing. One of the greatest Colombian writers, Andres Caicedo, caleño, wrote an amazing novel, 'Que viva la musica!', it's an amazing book which explores the life in Cali in its music, culture, parties, drugs, places, history, I strongly recommend you reading it to get a good grasp of how everything is there, if you ever have the time, you can find it in some other languages.

When it comes to Medellin, I think it's the best suited for my liking when it comes to big cities. I've read a lot about it and heard decent stories about it as well.

Regarding Bogota, you're from there right? Then when it comes down to having a drink or two with ya I gotta consider this too.

I'm not too into museusms and stuff, but overall outside activities I'm all up for.

The thing is that when you're going to visit a country so far away, then you've got to plan things long ahead and staying less than a week seems pointless.

That sound swell, it's definitely something I'd like to experience.

What about the nightlife though? I bet it's beautiful around there.
