Starting XI
Non-Stop (2014) - Pfff... Turned out better that i expected it to be, one of those switch your brain off, ignore all the plot holes and just let yourself be entertained movies. Watchable.

The Way Way Back (2013) - Probably wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for the good reviews and Sam Rockwell being in it. A coming-of-age movie, which was pretty decent. Also Steve Carrell did pretty good job at being an asshole in a serious role, unlike his usual comedy/idiotic roles. Probably the best of the bunch of these movies i've watched lately.

Big Bad Wolves (2013) - An Israeli film, it caught my eye when i happened to read on IMDb that Tarantino considered it as the best movie of the year or something. It clearly seemed to have been influenced by his movies (Reservoir Dogs for example). It was again decent in its' bizarre way. Nothing special, though.

Enemy (2013) - A mystery by Denis Villeneuve who is the director of movies "Incendies" and "Prisoners" that i enjoyed (the first one not as much as the latter). The director was clearly inspired by David Lynch it seems, although the movie based on a book. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either.

El Cuerpo (2012) - All the reviews said it was great and quite unique, so i decided to watch it. Most of the Spanish movies i've seen i've liked, and this was no different. Although it was definitely lacking something, the acting could have been better (i think that bothered me the most). And from the beginning you could understand straight away that it was going to end with some sort of a twist. I couldn't figure it out before the end. It tried to be original yes, but wasn't something extraordinary.

Doubt (2008) - Strong performances by PSH and Meryl Streep. But i'm afraid that's as far as it goes. The acting was sublime, and while the movie gave something to think about, it was not that special.

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) - I don't consider myself as a Wes Anderson's movies fan. Reviews were 50/50, decided to watch it anyway. Nothing special. Good cast, tries to be overly funny and came out quite cheesy. Wouldn't watch again.

Might have forgotten about some things i've seen lately and tried to make it short...

Because of young Zero being Indian?

Actually in some ways i agree with you. It pretty much had the same concept. An old guy telling some other dude what he had experienced when he was young and the latter writing a book about it.

Tom at the Farm - a Quebec film which generated a buzz at Venice by a 25 year old director already loved at Cannes (probably because he speaks french), a fucking intense psycological thriller, I was not expecting this! If you want something gripping, original, brutal and disturbing, check this out.

I saw this a couple of months ago, cant remember if I wrote about it here, yeah, it was weird. I quite enjoy it but I really did not expect it to take the route it did and am not sure I am entirely satisfied with the ending. Unlike Lynch, it did not really make the extent of the surrealism clear from the start (other than the spider sex show) so I was not expecting it so much. I loved the sepia toned photography though. Definitely a film which left me thinking.

Yup. But this one was a bit boring. Nothing special really.

The Immigrant - Not particularly special considering the pedigree, an attempt at a Hollywood prestige piece that fell a little flat. Stretched credibility at points, a horrible story of degredation where the degredation was not particulary chilling. Even the period shots of 1916 New York didnt leave a lasting impression. Phoenix did a decent job but couldnt quite hit either the true ruthlessness of his character or believable redemption. Difficult to emotionally connect with the central girl, despite her misfortunes, or the quarantined sister. Not entirely without merit but most go down as a disappointment.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier - It was awful. Plot holes everywhere. Too much hero fights old friend drama. Marvel's getting lame

I bought C.Ronaldo
Edge of Tomorrow - At first I wasn't interested in the movie but as it progresses it gets better. Tom's acting was good. The story line was common nothing special or new. Emily Blunt was hot.

Non-Stop - This movie was so predictable from the start. There has probably been a 100 movies exactly like this!! hahahaha

And they are all a disgrace. If you're lucky enough to live in a country with that index of big booty chicks and the object of your desire is Ellen fucking Page, you're an idiot.
