American Hustle - Finally saw it and what a letdown it turned out to be. Boring fucking movie that went nowhere for two hours. Aside from the all star cast I just didn't see what the big deal was. I was pissed when I finished it.

It wasn't the world's best movie, but was better than the WoWS. If it wasn't for the hot Aussie chick, that was one seriously overrated movie. I think guys loved the idea of the movie - and being the wolf, rather than the movie itself

X-Men: Days of Future Past - Was really good. Jennifer Lawrence did well as always. Oh and Peter was there that was cool.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 - Even though I knew Gwen was gonna die wish she didnt Emma Stone played Gwen really well :( I hope Venom shows up at 3

Right but it was still initially outlined by Singer and written by the same guy who wrote DoFP. That said it is cool to see they recognized it was crap and tried to "erase" it, but it also erases some parts of the others. Again, I have no problem with that.

Fading Gigolo - I actually liked this, it was like a tamer Woody Allen movie not made by Woody Allen but dominated by Woody Allen. Taking a rare acting-only part (he didnt write or direct though apparently aided Turturro alot) Allen was free to really nuance his comedic performance and was funnier than I have seen him in a long while. The plot was not as far fetched as some critics have suggested and there were very interesting themes such as gender power reversal in wealth and sexual dependence, and the death of small, independent businesses and communities in NYC. It kind of petered out, the ending was satisfactory but no more, and the first half was funnier than the second, but the cinematography remained strong and the characters interesting enough. I would recommend this, good date film actually.
