Oblivion (2013) - I waited like two months until i decided to watch this. When most of the reviews on imdb are saying it's worth a watch, then i decided to have a go at it, and i wasn't disappointed. The only negative aspect was Tom Cruise (I just can't stand him) and those 5 minute long airplane chasing scenes. Olga Kurylenko wasn't bad in it either, actually she brought some sunshine into this movie which it needed. I should listen to my friend's recommendations more, it was worth watching.

We're The Millers (2013) - Made me even laugh a few times. Would probably be a good movie to watch with some friends and beers.

I wasn't very impressed with Oblivion, but you're a 100% accurate - We're The Millers was a very good movie to watch with some friends and beers.

I also recently watched The Conjuring, which was moderately good (if you enjoy horror movies). It had some nice creeping moments.

Tower Heist - I was tricked to watch it by the word 'heist' and I expected some serious art of robbery, but it was more like the regular "bad guy gets it" movies. Eddie Murphy was Eddie Murphy and didn't disappoint but I probably wouldn't watch it a second time.

Those are the sort of movies I can sit through if I'm bored and flipping through channels but I'd never seek them out. Pretty much any Vince Vaughn, new Murphy/Stiller, or any Kevin James movies have that effect. Maybe not Murphy, he hasn't done anything worthwhile in years.

Thor 2 - 9

Much much better than Man of Steel

Yeah, I liked the mythology involved. And it was better than the first one, imo. I really like Loki.

Dallas Buyers Club - pretty good movie, effective and well acted, perhaps dragged on a little further than necessary and also Jennifer Garner's part seemed fairly irrelevant and just a way to get some sort of female "hero" in there. Also perhaps a little bit too much of a hatchet job on the US drug approval system - the drug they lambast throughout the movie actually proved successful in the end! Enjoyed it though.

Starting XI
Prisoners (2013) - Such a powerful film. It was quite slow paced at times, but so suspenseful that it kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie. It kind of had Mystic River and Zodiac vibe to it. Great performances from Hugh Carlos*man and especially Jake Gyllenhaal. Definitely one of the best movies i've seen lately.

I bought C.Ronaldo
Jobs - Great movie. Can't believe Steve Jobs is such an asshole.

Machetter Kills - God this movie is a waste of money its awful!!

The Starving Games - there's just a lot of stupid humor. The first 30 minutes felt like an hour with how awful the jokes were. Complete waste of time. 0/10

The Wolverine (2013) - Action packed! The movie was great. I loved it that they picked Japan as the place of the story. 8/10

We're the millers - A good movie, but like I mentioned before, it was completely worth it to see Jennifer Aniston do the Strip tease, boy does she look so fucking sexy and hot. I'll admit it, I did a few stop and rewind when she did that dance, and when she was in the club. :D

World War Z - Was never too thrilled about this movie, specially during the commercials. Not a fan of Zombies being depicted as almost having super strength and doing what those Zombies were doing. Now the idea they came up with to fight them, that really caught my interest.

The Wolverine - Completely enjoyed the movie, definitely better than the first one. Could have done with a little more fighting against the Silver Samurai, but other than that, It was worth it.

Read the book.

We are the Millers - Better than I expected. Aniston looks so good altbough her face has clearly been operated on and has not aged as wrll as her body has. Movie was nothing special but I expected it to be bad.

Taxi Driver - Goodfellas - Raging Bull - Gangs of new York - Scorsese is fucking amazing. I can't believe I waited so long to see those masterpieces, damn, taxi driver is just so fantastic.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire - I'm starting to really like this trilogy :D. I wasn't convinced by the first one, but the plot and the end in Catching Fire was remarkable. Gonna read the books.

The first two that you mentioned are fantastic. I've never understood the hype around "Raging Bull", good acting yes, but not a good plot. Gangs of NY? Never seen it.

Lately i've watched hmm... Drinking Buddies (2013) - avoid it like a plague. And Rendition (2007) which was ok, nothing special though.

Oh and i almost forgot, i went to see The Counselor, hoping that it would be great, but it wasn't. I was highly disappointed. Anyone who's planning to watch, do not watch the trailer. That movie was all about dialogue.

Captain Phillips, pretty damn good, SUPERB acting performance from Tom Hanks. Really well created tension, really good performances from the Somalis. BUT, I do fear that a) the Phillips character may have been overly and unnecessarily glorified, just being through what he went through was enough to make him a hero but every chance they got he was saying or doing something noble, selfless or compassionate, b) I want to know if the testimony of the surviving and arrested pirate was used in creating the pirates actions and conversations outside of when Phillips was present, because otherwise these are complete guesswork. I also want to know if the US navy transcripts were used or if this is based purely onn Phillips' account, c) the amount of English the pirates spoke was very changeable, from pidgin to understanding complex thoughts and sentences, this to me didnt add up.

So a very well made and suspenseful film, but I am concerned about accuracy issues.
