The movies that have a lot of CGI are pointless in my opinion, they try to make up with that, because there's no real plot.

That's why i prefer dramas etc...

I like King's books, but i don't like the movies that are based on them. Some director should really put an effort and make a good movie, there's good material that's for sure.

The Shining is a classic, and Shawshank is one of my favourite movies, Green Mile is great as well. Sorry i've been in a haze during the last few days and not thinking clearly.

And btw The Mist? I hate horror movies, although as far as i've heard it's more of a psychological thriller. You should watch Misery, unless you have already seen it. I think it is probably the best King's book made into a movie after those you and i already mentioned.

I've watched a few movies lately.

The East (2013) - No comments really, didn't regret watching it.

2 Guns (2013) - The chemistry between Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg saved the movie. I've never really rated Wahlberg, but their dialogue was pretty funny. Obviously too much action and unrealistic, but typical Hollywood movie. Good if you are feeling bored and don't want to watch anything too serious.

Oblivion (2013) - I waited like two months until i decided to watch this. When most of the reviews on imdb are saying it's worth a watch, then i decided to have a go at it, and i wasn't disappointed. The only negative aspect was Tom Cruise (I just can't stand him) and those 5 minute long airplane chasing scenes. Olga Kurylenko wasn't bad in it either, actually she brought some sunshine into this movie which it needed. I should listen to my friend's recommendations more, it was worth watching.

We're The Millers (2013) - Made me even laugh a few times. Would probably be a good movie to watch with some friends and beers.

The World's End (2013) - British comedy with Simon Pegg and some others. Started off pretty well, throughout the movie the dialogue between the characters was so funny. I must admit i even laughed out loud a couple of times. And it was also nice to see Paddy Considine in a comedy. I didn't really like the "twist" if you can call it like that, but i guess there was no other way to make this movie, it was intentional. Everybody who likes to drink once in a while should like this movie. British comedy is great.

I don't usually watch these kind of movies, but some of them were really worth watching, and i was bored.

I want to see this movie, not only because of the comedy, but because of Jennifer Aniston
;)

Yeah it is. But i really haven't planned to, but i'll see, maybe.

Actually you're the first person who's telling me about this haha, so i just found about this right now. I should see which movies they're airing at first, but right now is not the time for that. I'm quite tired.

For some reason, in my memory of the movie Ewan Mcgregor has replaced Tom Cruise as the main character.

Actually i thought for a quite a while who could have replaced Cruise, and i never thought of Ewan McGregor. He would have been perfect.
I could only think about Sam Rockwell (I really enjoyed his performance in "Moon"), who's in my opinion really underrated actor. I have no idea why he doesn't get any good roles. From the top of my head i can just say:
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002)
Matchstick Men (2003)
Moon (2009)
Seven Psychopaths (2012)
... and that's about it.

Kudos to Aniston, she's in her 40s and the promise of her stripping scene is the main reason I'd like to see that film.
