Is this a new patch..???? And if so will effect any mods that are already installed.
mine runs brilliant at the moment and am not willing to risk losing anything.

Back up your PES3.exe before you install this patch, unless you want to reinstall the game. After patching, it's throwing the following error:

Conflict with Disc Emulator Software detected. See www.securom.com/emulation for more details.

Before anybody goes barking about warez, I have the full purchased version, with the DVD running in the drive.

The first patch did something similar, I had to reinstall the entire game then run the patch immediately before playing the game for the first time.

The only change I've made to my game is applying Wolf's kits.

UPDATE:
For those running the game in 98/ME compatibility mode to improve performance, it won't work with this patch. I disabled this option, and the patched game runs fine now.

Yes this is a new (second patch) patch. I'm afraid to try it tho...my game is running 95% perfect right now.

It's unlikely to be compatible with Waterloo's editor, so chances are the collars will be screwed up on various kits (if you have installed any of the kit packs).

If this editor was compatible, then everything would be ok - as at the moment, if you want perfect kits, you have no choice but to use the original v1.0 exe file. Neither this new Konami patch, or the previous one will let you have perfect kits unfortunately.

I find this rather annoying, as v1.0 of the game doesn't run that great for me, whereas the first patch solved all slowdown problems. Unfortunately, the patch didn't help everyone, and made things worse for some people.

it's better :) hardly any slowdowns in the penalty box. It's still not 100%, but it's, let's say 98%

Are you saying you back upped pes3.exe, installed the patch and restored pes3.exe back to it's place?
Isn't the patch useless in that case, ?

Yes - if you put back your old exe, then you might as well not install the patch! The patch is essentially contained within the exe file, so swapping it over converts it back to the version of the exe you use with it.

Haven't tried the patch, don't need to as the game runs superb from installing it but it's great to see that Konami actually care and release patch unlike *cough*EA Sports*cough*

Unbelivable!!!just tried the new patch and where as before there was a playable slowdown in the penalty area it is now in total slowmo. There has got to be something wrong here both patches make it worse for me with my system I expect to play it on 800x600 without out all this crap. I dont think the slowmo will be fixed by Konami this second patch just proves it, done nothing for me. Crazy or what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
