Kit Design Templates

I thought about this thread as a ressource thread for kit designs. People who start making kits often don't know how to create the difficult kit designs like the ones of adidas, so they have to take parts of existing kits to finally be able to play with al-something from kuwait. Though doing this sounds reasonable, they are accused of stealing and threatened to be kicked out of this community. But this community needs more kitmakers doing more kits so young kitmakers should get help instead of accusations.

I'd like to see more kitmakers sharing their designs so that designs like puma (which is used by thousands of club and national teams) don't have to be re-made for each puma kit that's made.

a lot of people use paint shop or corel, so i thought this might be best... you just have to replace the colours and add a texture template.

brilliant, now I can make my Serie C1 kits myself and release a patch even (I have all the data and most of the flags made but the kits are a bitch to make and I gave up), not that I have been accused of stealing before but hey, you never know right?

that's not necessary , it's templates, made to be used. i mean, everyone uses the texture templates without crediting, too.

and apart from that, like i said before, every kit in my "kits no one asked for" thread can be used to make other kits, too. this has already been done a few times and i have no problems with that. i have no time for making kits myself at the moment anyway.

hmmm... strange. i don't have paint shop so i can't test it but it's strange. maybe paint shop adds a black background layer?

and did you save it as a png-file? most probably you did, because it's the default setting since it IS a png-file, but maybe...

I think that's the problem too, when you copy paste it to your program the background will be black. But when you save it and open the file it opens correct.

And i think it's bull**** if everyone spends time on making a design which lots of other people already made but don't share because of opinions like yours. But you're still free to make your own designs. And templates, of course, i'm sure you made yours yourself?

nice ideea ... but who knows to make kits very good will make his design, and who don`t know, will make sh-t kits with there designs ... and there are and ppls who make kits with that designs and put them on other forums, and say cos he make that kits from zero ... :P ... anyway, good ideea

In photoshop the background will be transparent. get a textured template with the creases and change the colour, THEN add the template on, worked for me :P

uh... your designs? i swear i made it man... how could i have made those files with your designs?! you never made such files or at least i haven't seen them... i remember i used someone's kits, so maybe yours, to adjust the stripes of the adidas kits to make them fit on the shoulders, that's all, is that a reason to speak of plagiarism? but if you prefer it that way, close this thread. i'm a little disappointed, i hoped this could be a way for many to save time and for even more to make kits that otherwise could not.

it's not like i "wanted to publish designs", i really just wanted to help those people who request for kits no one makes them, and i hoped more kitmakers would follow. this was supposed to be an open thread for everyone to up- and download design templates, just like the texture templates thread. but since no one did that anyway and since there is so much bitterness around, maybe it's better to say goodbye to this idea and this thread.

and like i said, i honestly did so myself, maybe you can show us the four kits i'm accused to have plagiated?

I think the idea behind this is great, of course it is wrong to take someone's designs. It would be very nice if you guys could sort your problems out because I think that honestly this is a great chance for people that are not as skilled to make kits to make some for teams that have none made.

In my personal case that would be Italy's third and fourth divisions, I wouldn't want to make a Real Madrid or Man Utd kit with them as they would look ridiculous compared to the experienced kit makers ones anyway.

I have great respect for the kit makers who made their own designs and those should remain untouched but Biebrich is offering something that could help so much people to get the kits ingame that are never made since they would have a nice base to make them themselves. And should they be used for release in a creation master league patch of course it would be required to credit the template maker.

I hope this thread doesn't go down the drain and that we could see much more templates like Nike, Legea, Hummel, Onze, Macron, Le Coq sportif, ect ect ect

mate, you can feel free to post as many design as you want to,but dont post my design. i could reconize the shorts shape and the front shapes too, please make your own shapes and then publish them please...
