Deschamps: “Everyone to stay”

Speaking to journalists this afternoon the Juventus head coach dispelled the rumours surrounding the futures of some of his top players: “Everyone here is under contract with Juventus and will play for Juventus. The door is closed”. And the players who have already signed agreements with other clubs? “From an economic point of view it was inevitable we would lose some big names”. The Frenchman also revealed the possibility of further arrivals: “We are still looking to strengthen the squad”. When questioned on whether there is an over-abundance of talent in certain positions, Didier did not hesitate: “As a coach it’s great if there’s competition for places; those who deserve to play will play”. The press conference then turned to Tuesday’s sentence: “It was a great disappointment to us all, myself in particular. We had hoped for a more positive outcome. I can’t understand the differential treatment of the other clubs: it’s illogical”. And the 3 matches to be played on neutral ground? “It’s laughable. It makes no sense at all”. There was, however, some small consolation: “To get back in Serie A with a 30 point penalty would have been almost impossible. If things stay as they are now (Serie B with a 17 point penalty), it will still be difficult to achieve promotion after one season, but certainly not impossible. In any case we will continue with our appeal”. It’s really a question of motivation; if the players are at their physical peak, it will be their technical ability that makes the difference. The players are here and they’re working hard, it’s my job to make sure we return to Serie A as quickly as possible”.

I only think we should sell a few forwards... Zalayeta, Guzman and Sculli for example. They're useless with the likes of Palladino, Bojinov and Volpato also around. I really REALLY hope Palladino will play regularly. This guy can be huge in Juve's future.

Diritti TV: Mediaset 'Non ridiscuteremo contratto Juve'

Mediaset will not break the contract they made with Juventus last season unless we stay in B for next year. We'll still get a lot of money :rockman:.
Finances not a problem anymore? :p

Edit: Are the rumours that Eurosport will broadcast next season's Serie B matches true?

Just Read that Inter were handed last years scuddeto.. WTF?? :nape: Can anyone verify this

If that crap is true, then Italian football is seriosly dead for me.Only Juve. Why the F*CK give a scudetto that was won LEGITIMATLY, and it was proven that it was won fair and square to god damn inter f*ckin milan?!!?!?!?!? BAH :nape: . I guess hell froze up or something. Inter winning a Scudetto. lame.

I don't agree with awarding a scudetto to another team. I'd rather just have Juve with two scudettos less.

But I don't understand why everyone is pissed at Inter now. They are the ones who played it fair. The other two big guns didn't.
I used to think of Inter as underachievers, but I don't anymore. It's not hard to fail when your rivals are cheating. Perhaps Inter would put up a stronger fight for the title had everything been fair. You never know.

Clubs like Inter and Roma grow in my eyes each day. Juve and Milan are not worth all that much anymore. Just my take on things.

Yeah, that makes sense to Interisti maybe.

The only point we're making is that Inter got awarded a scudetto from a season that wasnt under question and was won fairly. Giving them that scudetto as some kind of punishment for Juve is pure bullsh*t. If they were gonna hand them a scudetto, do the 04/05 and let Juve keep 05/06. That would make a little more sense...

Just be happy you are able to even participate in the Italian league after cheating... At work, if you cheat = fired... in school, you cheat = expelled. The punishments are just... I don't want the title this way, but many times within the last decade, Inter finished third, always behind Juve and Milan, now I know why...

You can tell any other fan except Interisti who really won and deserved last years scudetto and they'll say Juve. It was just the stupid decision that to bring us down to serie B next season they have to take out points in the LEGIT championship of 05-06.
They could of just said we disqualify Juve for the 04-05 season and drop them to serie B.

I'll say it again, it all started with Juve in C, the rest in B. Now it's everybody in A except Juve. You think the other 3 get a decent punishement for what they did? nah!

So because this whole process was a joke, we want to join the party and appeal this farce of a decision and get back in A with let's say -20pts. Sure, the whole world will say we bought the judges and all....MY A*S. The laws are in place to make these appeals, like it or not. Sure it sounds stupid because everybody will be in A like nothing happened. I said it from the beggining, they ALL pay or they don't.

The thing is they should make a law that say the 1st verdict is the one that counts. Now everybody would of got severe sanctions. That's not the case because the ITALIAN justice system is crap.

So if we get what we want and get our serie A back, don't come here and say that Juve bought the judges and all that sh*t. Say that the whole system is a bunch of horse sh*t.

Now that we're taking it to civil court, can it still be overturned (the scudetto to Inter)? Or are we unable to appeal against this decision?

If they take us back in A it will depend on the points they take out of the 05-06 scudetto. Still, with what's going on we'll still end up in B though there's a glimpse of hope. Anyway, a year in B would of made our ypunger players better and take some experience.

You guys are some bitter old men. Juve was stripped of the title to begin with, but that doesn't seem to bother you as much as Inter being awarded it. Grow up, it's not like Inter put in a petition to have you investigated. Stop employing crooked motherf*ckers and you wouldn't have to worry about losing your titles. Not a single Interista on SG has rubbed salt in the wounds regarding Juve's punishment but that hasn't stopped you all from spitting in our faces every chance you get. A bunch of real class acts around here...

Of course we're f*cking bitter. Our club just got relegated and got stripped of 2 titles a day ago, while other teams get a slap on the wrist. But it's bullsh*t we bother more about Inter getting it then us losing it. From the first sentence on we've been saying it's bullsh*t they stripped us off that last title since it was won fair, and now they even awarded it to another team, which happens to be our biggest rival.

What a great way to come off my SG break huh? Juve stripped of the title, barred to Serie B, looking at a hefty point reduction, out of the CL and Europe in general, bitching quite profusely to apellate court after appellate court, losing star players left and right (possibly Vieira to Inter, if not others like Zlatan), and to top it all off, Inter being crowned Scudetto winners after you guys "apparently" fixed matches. Though it hasn't been "fully proven" and that's why I'm guessing you guys don't want to be handed down your current [mockery of a] "punishment."

Oh how the mighty [cheating/match fixing] giants of Italy have fallen.
Let me amuse myself by saying "I told you so" a quite repeatedly a while back about your [Juve's] state of malfeasance. :jap:
