I have my doubts on Buffon and Zanetti staying. Even Kovac.
Vieira is 99% to Inter. Zlatan is close to them also.
Camo and Trez almost to Lyon.
Zebina could stay. :| noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I heard that Deschamps said we could buy a MAX of 3 players with the guys we already signed. We'll see.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Tudor damnit, I want Tudor in the lineup!!! :( With Deschamps saying we could, who will we buy, I have a feeling no one will wanna come to us. :(

Hell, I'll go as far as to say you probably had no clue Milan were once relegated for match-fixing.

i would as well hence making the last post he made ignorant and uninformed.
if he did know then he's just dumb to think that no-one will ever look past that.
so now why don't you just leave all the people you pity alone.

not too sure on Kovac staying so tudor is there.
if we do run a 4-3-3 then the four midfielders shown will be the ones in use the most and rotating.
up front i think if we don't keep trez well snatch up lucarelli and he'll be the target man for the crosses of DP, Bojinov, Marc, Nedved, Chiellini and Balza.

i don't want zlatan to stay but we'll probably only get a worthwhile deal from inter cuz they are not too smart.
we could do without all three puchases if some of the players in "reserve" last season don't desert us.

Probably the lineup... But what about Buffon? I don't think he's leaving. By the way, I think Bojinov could be a key player for you guys and a real danger to the opponent. I like his aggressive play.

How can we not still be class? It's not like our players or coaching staff had any knowledge of this. Certain people on our Board cheated, not the team, they gave 100% in every one and I thank them greatly for that. To punish our whole team like this is completely unfair to the players and fans who did nothing wrong. How can we possibly not rebuild our image? It won't be tainted forever. What if one day we end up winning the Serie A and the Cl in the same year and start to dominate again, are we still not a prestigous club, because of something that was done in the past? Will we not still be a prestigous club if we rebuild our image and get through this dark point in the club's history? Look at Milan, they were relegated in the early 80s for match fixing, it didn't take too long for them to come back on top, and pretty much everyone has forgotten about that dark point in Milan's history. Hell, I'll go as far as to say you probably had no clue Milan were once relegated for match-fixing.

Yeah that's lovely, you read about three of my paragraphs and build one whole arguement based off my last line? real smart there.

why don't you tackle some of the real issues i addressed, rather than the fact that i don't forgive cheating clubs easily.

Prestige isn't some crap you can throw around, sure Juventus will probably come back and be a successful club again, but success =/= prestige. Sure, they tend to go hand in hand, but they are not the same thing. I'll agree this is unfair to the players, as i am aware they did nothing wrong, but what should we do? sit back? do nothing? "oh hur hur they cheated but that's too slack to the players and the fans so we should just let them go" :boohoo: :boohoo:
The board didn't cheat just for giggles, they did it for the players, they did it for the fans, and most importantly they did it for the club, so please forgive me if i misunderstood the fact that the board represents the club. I don't tend to post much, but to sit here and watch some guy make an ignorant and uninformed post that implies that Juventus has more class than Inter just doesn't go down well with me.

One was found guilty of cheating, one was not even mentioned, not the players, not the coach, but the club, how could you possibly come to the conclusion that the cheating club has more class than the non cheating club ladies?

So please, explain how Juventus has more class than Inter, and in the process tell me how calling proven match fixers "cheaters" is uninformed, because i don't know about you, but when every newspaper in the world says the same thing i tend to take their word on it.

and yes, i hate Milan also, i just didn't think it was relevant to bring them up, does Milan's cheating make Juve any less cheaters? No, and i never said that the world will always see Juventus as cheaters just me, because hell, half the people in this forum have already forgotten about it and it's been what..? a week? 2?

You guys don't think Kovac would stay? Where would he go at 32? He's certainly no Maldini.
He's still good enough for just about any midtable team in one of the top leagues. I doubt he wants to waste the last years of his career in Serie B.

Chelsea withdraw from Juve cull Saturday 22 July, 2006

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says his club have no plans on raiding Juventus for the few talented players left at the club.

The likes of Emerson, Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluca Zambrotta and Lilian Thuram have already been sold, with Patrick Vieira and Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to follow.

But while the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona have eagerly swooped, the London club are not attempting to benefit from the Italian outfit’s demotion to Serie B.

"We started thinking about transfers for the new season before the last one ended. For example we contacted Bayern Munich about Michael Ballack last term," Mourinho stated.

"The market was waiting for the problems in Italian football. Chelsea didn't and I'm happy with that because it shows we are working at the right time and also shows respect for difficult times.

"I would be very sad to bring to Chelsea players from a club in difficult circumstances. When I look at a big, big club like Juventus with players wanting to go, I don't laugh at the situation.”

However, Football Italia understands that Chelsea did make a bid for Zambrotta last week before he left for Barca.

It’s alleged that they made a £13m offer for the full-back, but that was rejected as Juventus insisted he would only be sold in partnership with Thuram – so that Juve could rid themselves of his wages too.

The latter, at 34 years of age, was deemed as surplus to requirements by Mourinho and the pair thus quickly moved to Spain instead.

Juve ponder Givet bid Saturday 22 July, 2006

After netting almost £30m in the last week through player sales, Juventus are ready to spend some of that cash on reinforcements for the new campaign.

Boss Didier Deschamps has admitted that the club are looking to sign at least three players following the mass exodus of footballing talent after the club’s demotion to Serie B.

After waving goodbye to Emerson, Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluca Zambrotta, Lilian Thuram and packing Patrick Vieira’s bags, the Coach is preparing to welcome some new faces.

Reports in Italy on Saturday suggest that a primary objective for the scandal-hit giants is Monaco youngster Gael Givet.

Born in 1981, Deschamps believes that the Frenchman is the ideal candidate to replace Cannavaro in the centre of defence.

Deschamps is a massive fan of the stopper after coaching him with success during his time on the Principality bench.

The Bianconeri, facing up to life in the Second Division, are apparently ready to bid around £5m for the 25-year-old.

It’s unclear at this stage whether Monaco would agree to a sale seeing as his present agreement doesn’t expire until June 2009.

Im so freaking sure Mark is a writer on Football Italia. Moggi77 my ass. He's some journalist for Tuttosport. Givet so suddenly linked to Juve? Only Marko can explain this.

Yeah :nape:. I remember he had a Kovac avatar for about 5 months last year until we eventually signed him plus he predicted Vieira's and Zanetti's transfers weeks before (and Marchionni's I think).
Tell us Mark (6).

Palladino (H)

looks like a 4-3-3 which is good for us imo.
looks as well that chiellini played as the centre back, i always thought that he'd fit great there if necessary.

and yea palladino(H)

Good to hear about the formation and the win... Palladino is great. Always liked Kapo and I hope he will contribute alot this year.
Also great to see the Nike logo in yellow.
Tomorrow is the day the rest of the team will join Juve's training camp right?
Please reveal the future Mark-Almighty :)

only

NEDVED, Kovac, Tudor and Ibrahimovic for tomorrow. Some will stay, some will only pass by to clean their lockers.

I think we'll only buy 2-3 players for this season. Financial situation is too fragile.
A CB, CM and a CF would be usefull if we lose Ibra and Trez. Zalayeta can't cut it anymore and Volpato is till injured.

I'd go for the type of players wich obviously have less talent thant Cannavaro, Emerson and Trezeguet.

Givet, Plasil and Lucarelli would fit in nicely.
