Ciro doing his magic already. (H) Third place secured and a good shot at second place.

Now I'm not sure whether we're already second on head-to-head. Milan would beat us on goal difference.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
What a relief. Imagine if we only got just ten points in the past two months. We'd be tied for 1st. Whatever, at least Ciro restored the motivation and confidence previously lacking under Ranieri's craptastic final two months.

Juve is always a bit late revealing the jerseys. I think we can expect them in July like last year.

The president of Bari confirmed they're looking for a new coach, so I guess it's pretty much certain Conte will come to Juventus. I read about his 4-2-4 system, but like any coach he'll just have to adjust to the players we have on the roster. Diego with the current players:

Buffon

RB Cannavaro Chiellini Criscito

Camoranesi Sissoko Marchisio

Diego

Amauri Del Piero

A new RB, D'Agostino, Mahamadou Diarra, Quagliarella... Pretty sweet.

Gaetano D'Agostino and Fabio Quagliarella wouldn't agree to a transfer just to end up sitting on the bench, especially with the World Cup around the corner ...

with that formation, there is only 1 spot for an attacking midfielder ... Diego won't be benched if he's available, and Giovinco would be understudy (coz selling him or even loaning him out in favour of bringing in D'Agostino would not go down at all well with the fans), so it's pretty obvious that D'Agostino isn't really accommodated for anyway ...

Quagliarella would have a slightly better shot at playing time coz Alex may not be able to do a full compliment of matches in the coming season, and Amauri is far from being untouchable ... but that is still a far from an ideal situation, coz both Amauri and Alex would also be fighting to be consistent starters, not least so that they too can get called up to play in South Africa next year (Amauri by either Brazil or Italy) ...

4-2-3-1 is the only real satisfactory formation to have your best players on the pitch for the majority of the time, even before contemplating moves for D'Agostino and Quagliarella ...

Mark what are these voices that i hear TasCi has agreed on terms to join you guys on a free transfer next season? If there is any truth to that i congraulate you as he is going to be rock solid on the CB/RB position. Yes he plays both positions quite well.

Wow, Tasi, he's phenomenal. It would be great news!

Considering the age (Del Piero), injury proneness (Camoranesi) and possible departures (Trezeguet, Camoranesi) Juve could look like this with D'Agostino and Quagliarella:

Sissoko D'Agostino (Camoranesi) Marchisio

Diego (Giovinco)

Amauri (Iaquinta) Quagliarella (Del Piero)

Juve should stick with two strikers. In practice it wouldn't make a big difference with 4-2-3-1, anyway. There would be plenty of room to shuffle for sure.

I've been hearing that rumour for a couple of weeks now. I've only seen him a couple of times. Like others said, he wasn't flamboyant but didn't make any mistakes. That's what I want from a CB.

I've heard good things about him and the rumours are strong so it may happen this season if we can find a team for Mellberg or most probably in 2010.

Do Napoli even have the money to buy him ? I heard that Udine turned down a 22 mil € offer from Bayern for the player. I would love to have him with us , he's a very good player but unfortunately very expensive.

Hazard can play on the right or left of the mid. I think he can also play in the centre. He'd be a buy for the future. Salvio can play in Camoranesi's place or more in front. Giovinco can backup Diego or Del Piero for another year and then replace #10 later.

Quag wants to stay in Italy. Napoli can have the $$$ for him if they sell Hamsik.
