Coman will probably make his starting debut tonight! He must've been very impressive in training, for me it was a little hard to judge him against the poor pre-season opponents.

He's been one of our better players really, but his staring is due to injuries

Excellent debut by Coman, what an exciting player. And only 18 years old.

This Juventus is a well oiled machine. No one left and it won't be difficult for the new squad players to integrate in a smooth running machine. Coman definitely benefited from that today. They should be able to retain the Scudetto fairly easy in this Serie A.

Vidal was in good shape as well. He'll be back at 100% soon, I'm not worried.

Also, the shirt looks a lot better with the black font.

kept glancing at your game while watching Mártinez vs. Mou ... Pogba playing with '98 Preds was awesome ... Coman looked more effective than he's ever done for PSG ... Ogbonna had a decent game too ...

Yes, Pogba's shoes were awesome! Usually I don't notice them, but these took me back to the good old days.

Nothing from Juve today, although I never believed Juve could make the Falcao move happen. Guess they believe Coman can play a significant role as an alternative in attack. I sometimes forget we signed Morata, I'm curious to see how he'll do. It's obvious we're going for status quo in Serie A - retaining the Scudetto - rather than getting better for a CL challenge. It's disappointing.

Good point. Shouldn't take that for granted, haha.

Pogba and Vidal are legit stars, I can imagine they feel like the have something to prove in the CL. They're as good as it gets for Juve.

We brought down the average age too, and didn't get our bendtner/anelka/borriello

Coman looks pretty good so far. let's see how Morata does. might not be that bad of a mercato after all. was expecting some more wingers if we're gonna ditch the 3-5-2.

never really liked Evra but I guess it's better than some random Atalanta player we always seem to get.

4-3-1-2 is his favourite ...

also glad you guys didn't sell Vidal to United, or Pogs to Real ...

one of them will still leave next summer though.

oh and I hope that's true. I like 4-3-1-2 more than most formations and we do have suitable full-backs for it.

Business as usual at Juventus Stadium. Pereyra was very good, our depth in midfield is ridiculous.

Meanwhile in Turin, Bonucci is taking free kicks...
lol ... well, hopefully Carlitos taking and scoring the freekick at the end puts any freekick discussion to rest ... how was the game overall? does it feel like last season all over again?

Yes and no, the performance was very last season, albeit with Asamoah trying too hard to earn a CM spot and shooting from everywhere but pulling a nice assist, and, caceres being our best defender

not sure what it says about your Champions League ability when your best performances and results in the past few years came while Angelo Alessio was caretaking ...
