also Sissoko, Grosso, Toni, etc. I don't see any big changes coming our way though...
Grosso and Toni would be experienced back-ups ... but the Italian papers say Momo may be the deal-clinching makeweight in the Vidal deal ...

Felipe Melo will leave too (good riddance, I should think?), which will help finance the remaining purchases ...

speaking of which, you guys have apparently joined Roma in going for Simon Kjær! I'm sure I mentioned him in this thread already as a guy who would genuinely improve the starting XI ... if he can rediscover his Palermo level and grow from there, you've got your central defence sorted for years to come ...

---

EDIT / UPDATE: seems Galatasaray are going to pay €1.5m (apart from covering wages) to take Melo on loan for a year, with a €13m fee to complete the transfer in 2012 ... sounds pretty good for Juve ...

Sounds like a dream, i wish they take Milito from us.

I like.

Now, for this left winger and STAR striker... C'mon Marotta!

maybe Zubizaretta should give them a call? them, and Anzhi too ...

€5m + €3m + €2.5m + variables (≤ €2 million) over the next 2.5 years? that's some solid work by Marotta & Co. ...

ok, this one is a little convoluted ... basically, it looks like it's between Michel Bastos and Juan Manuel Vargas ...

for Bastos, it's pretty straightforward: Lyon want straight cash ...

the offer for Vargas, though, includes Jorge Martínez; but Fiorentina want Bonucci plus cash ... Juve were already considering Simon Kjær ... but now they've also asked Catania about Matías Silvestre (to replace Bonucci) ... Catania have said they're willing to talk if the proposed deal would include Sergio Almirón -- which is very doable ... still, that's a lot of negotiating to get through without hitches ...

Villarreal are stalling over finding a replacement ... don't believe this was not addressed by them when Barça came in, so clearly this is about price ... this one may drag out a little more ...

Del Piero still has it. He'll forever be gifted but can't play a whole game anymore. A LEGEND regardless

So Aguero signed with City, Tevez will most likely go to Inter (please God no) and the most recent rumors suggest we've given up on Rossi because of his price tag and made Vucinic our main transfer target. **** ! 7th place here we come ! again

^ Juve can still offer cash plus Jorge Martínez, Iago Falqué, and even Almirón in part exchange if Villarreal are concerned about squad depth ... unfortunately Villarreal may do what Valencia did (David Villa and David Silva sold, Juan Mata retained), just to have a star player still lead the team ...

btw, have you guys heard the Berbatov rumours? would make for a poor consolation prize ... I mean Berba's not bad, but the fans surely won't care for another old, slow forward ...

if not Pepito this summer, then Adebayor on loan from Man City would be a cost-effective year-long solution ...

EDIT:

oh and for the left-wing, Marotta should look no further than Dédé Ayew ...

I really hope we sign a big name this summer. Marotta can go **** himself if he goes after another second-rate striker like Vucinic and doesn't give it a try for Aguero.

I wanted to buy the new Juventus home shirt with the name and number of our new SUPERSTAR, but it looks like Marotta saved me some money. El Kun was never meant to be.

I don't think Vucinic is such a bad signing though, I agree... I still don't see this team challenging Milan or Inter, but 3rd place should be within reach. F*cking depressing. :(

Villarreal sold Cazorla to Malaga for a lot of money and decided to take Rossi off the market.

Bad luck for Juve. Vucinic is good but Juve needs an ace up front, you already have lots of average (semi good) players. I still prefer good old Alex to players like him.

Let's just face it, we aren't the powerhouse we once were. We're more of an average team right now who isn't capable of enticing top players.
