Vieira got subbed in the 25min leaving the pitch by himself but groin injuries are tough man, same sh#t as Emerson last year.

Zlatan got subbed in the end, could be just for caution but wasen't supposed to play...

typical, when something finally happens regarding our team, it's injuries. However, I have a good feeling about them both being ready within short time. :)

you should automatically subscribe to the thread when you post

the injuries are a b*tch, but this year juve is more prepared

giannichedda can hold down central MF while vieira recovers, last year emerson was forced to play a bit

mutu also adds that extra option up forward, so zlatan can get that extra time if he needs it

for some reason it's not. shouldn't there be a button somewhere I can click to add this thread to my subscribed list?

EDIT:
yeah, found it now :)
I usually use 'Quickreply', so that's why I never found the 'Subscribe' thing.

fk im gonna get reall angry!

injuries plaguing us again! this is not the way to go. thank god there will be no world cup qualifiers for any of our players for a while. the only 2 who will be selected will probably be zalayeta and olivera for uruguay against australia!

Oh crap, any detailed info on both of the guys' injuries? Zlatan can relax a bit an wait until he's 100% fit, no need to force him and we already got enough players waiting to play in front. As for Vieira, we've got Giannichedda, I'm sure he can do a good job.

Edit:
Vieira set to miss Messina tie

Patrick Vieira is a major doubt for Sunday's Serie A clash with Messina after suffering an injury on international duty with France.

The former Arsenal star was withdrawn after just 24 minutes as Les Bleus took top spot in Group Four with a 4-0 win over Cyprus.

Vieira was below par in the 0-0 draw against Switzerland at the weekend and some reports had suggested that the accomplished midfielder was suffering from a groin injury.

It now appears as though the knock has been aggravated and doctors from the Bianconeri will examine the star on Thursday to ascertain his availability for Sunday's game.

French coach Raymond Domenech was reluctant to comment on the nature of Vieira's injury after leading his side to the World Cup finals next summer.

"He had real pain, he could not go on any more but I am no doctor," said Domenech.

If Vieira is ruled out of the tie against Messina, Juve coach Fabio Capello will be hopeful of having his French star back in action for the UEFA Champions League trip to Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

-------------------------------------------------

Trezeguet on comeback trail

David Trezeguet has resumed training with Juventus following his thigh injury.

The striker picked up the knock against Internazionale and has subsequently missed France's last two World Cup qualifiers.

It is unclear, however, whether or not Juve coach Fabio Capello will risk Trezeguet in the weekend fixture against Messina.

It may be more likely that the Frenchman will begin his comeback in Wednesday's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

sheva its always nice to hear sportsmanlike comments. mate i just wanna see juve lift that thing u guys took from our hands a few yrs ago. i think this season we are the most complete team in europe.

i dont know what mazzone was on. at least i think it was carlo mazzone who was saying totti at juve would make juve an invincible line-up. we dont need totti. but i mean tribalfootball does bullsh*t at times. they also say that del piero to arsenal in a swap deal for henry. they just dont know what their talkin bout lately.

anything new on ibra? i think he wold be fine quite personally. but like domenech said about vieira; "im no doctor."

Maduro catches Juventus eye
Thursday 13 October, 2005
Italian champions Juventus are reportedly monitoring the performances of Ajax youngster Hedwiges Maduro.

Transfer guru Luciano Moggi has been impressed with the 20-year-old, who has already been likened to Edgar Davids and Frank Rijkaard in his homeland.

Moggi is understood to have sent scout Franco Ceravolo to the Czech Republic – Holland tie last week to watch the player.

Holland won the game 2-0 and Maduro underlined his potential with a powerful performance in the World Cup clash.

The youngster, who should appear at the German Finals next year, is contracted to the Dutch giants until 2008 and currently earns just £200,000 a season.

IMHO both Chelsea and Juventus are equal which is why i think either Chelsea or Juventus will win CL this year, unless some freaky sh!t like last season happens, but most likely not.

Camoranesi commits to Juve
Friday, 14 October 2005

Italy winger Mauro Camoranesi has renewed his contract with Juventus until 2009.

Two titles
The 29-year-old Argentina-born midfielder joined Juventus from Hellas-Verona FC in 2002 and has since played 98 Serie A games in three seasons, scoring 13 goals. He has twice helped Juventus to Scudetto success.

Perfect start
Camoranesi's previous deal was due to expire in 2007. He has more than played his part as the Italian champions have enjoyed a perfect start to the season, winning all their competitive matches so far, six in Serie A and two in the UEFA Champions League.

This is great, he is one of the most hard-working and constant players we have. He's definetly very important for us, extending his contract was a good move.
