1. I am unfamiliar with him, entirely. Is he a target man?
2. Ive seen comments from other forums about the Cassano signing being part of Madrid's attempt to break into the Italian market, or to butter up for a run at Capello. From that angle it might hold some water

Yeah Tavano is a target man, compared to Filipo Inzaghi by some people.

As for the Italian market, I haven't heard much other than the Cassano deal, Capello, and Tavano rumours.
