Anyway, the operating system almost seems like I went through a time machine. My swype is much worse, my battery icon at the top doesn't show the percent left, and a bunch of other stuff like that. I did the system update, but it hasn't resolved any of this. It's a joke that most of the symbols aren't displayed on my keyboard for fast use, instead I have to hit the sym button like this was 1840.
Should I upgrade, and the much more important question, how the hell do I upgrade? I'm on Android 4.0.4.
ShiftyPowers;3360264 said:Thanks, I'll figure this stuff out tonight. Sounds easy enough.
Nady;3360265 said:The S3 is absolutely fantastic. Just upgraded to Android Jelly Bean.
The keyboard shouldn't be a problem because there are fantastic keyboards available from the market that are better than Swype. Swiftkey for example. You can buy it for cheap or can download it for free if you're smart like me.

And yes, that samsung keyboard was hilarious in how bad it was.
Alex;3360281 said:You got swype now? So much better at getting predictions right isn't it? I also LOVE that you can add things like email addresses to the dictionary, and swype them in one go. Awesome stuff.
You find battery percentage?

STML1;3361439 said:You lucky bastards. I'm still using the S2 due to being stuck with the contract. I fought the urge of buying the Note II full price, but that's just too much money to be spending right now. That thing is beautiful, though.
