Yeah, as I said, S3 is the maximum size for pockets. And being curved you don't notice the size difference in your pocket too much compared to the S2. In your hand, any bigger than 4.8" would be impossible to use one handed too

My one complaint, and this is a pretty dumb one all things considered, is how slick it is. It's like a bar of soap, I know I'm going to drop this thing when I'm drunk about 100 times.

I have this ugly ass and loose cover sleeve that has saved my phone from countless falls. The reason why I initially stayed away from Samsung was because of that, but eventually it became harder and harder to not look into their phones.

Well, I don't mind the sizel. It's really not that much bigger than the S2-S3. Not to mention that everyone and their mothers has an S3 (except me of course ). Due to the sheer size of the Note II, a lot of people seem to stay away, so it makes it more appealing to me. Either way I'd be happy with the S3 or the Note II. I just can't afford either of them right now.

Is the S3 that common in Australia? Here, most people are still with iPhones because Canadians are dumb. I'm pretty sure that there's more backberries than androids here. How about the US?

Argh! SOB! If not for those two above messages, I would have continued to believed that STML was someone new. But in the back of mind I felt it was skip.

You guys got me good, Shifty and Skip. Haha!

On topic, I see the change from iphones to Samsung phones more and more. Soon I'll be there as well.

In Australia the Galaxy S2 was extremely popular and S3 even more so.

The S3 is the first phone to outsell it's iPhone rival (5 in this case) in Australia, but worldwide the Galaxy S2 and S3 both outsold their iPhone equivalents.

On the train to work I see more and more Samsung phones and less and less iPhones. Samsung have done a great job at getting the message out that iPhone isn't the only phone, but you still get annoying fan boys who have no idea that most of their exciting iPhone features have been available on numerous Android phones for a long time

What city you in?

In Sydney I see loads of SGS3s every day on the train. And a few SGS2s. See quite a few iPhones, but less 5s than I see SGS3s. See a plethora of Android devices too. Not just Samsung phones - quite a few HTCs, Motorolas and even LGs.

Damn, if you can tell the difference between a 5 and a 4 just looking at it from a distance then you have some crazy accurate eyes.

I own a 4S and I can't even do that!

You get quite close to people on the train!! But I think the extra length looks obvious - especially as the width hasn't changed, it looks long.
