I wanted Inter to blow out Porto, and had it not been for the embarassing linesman, it wouldnt been. 11 offsides called, maybe 3 correct, 5 were 50/50 (which is supposed to be given to attacker) and the rest just bad calls. There was a play when Zanetti went through the whole time, and the ref still called offside, even though he kept possesion, that makes sense?
My current sig and headline prediction ('Adriano Runs Riot On Inferior Portuguese') were both brilliant calls by myself
.Stankovic was awful, and why is that everybody seems to agree VDM should start except for Mancini? Miha getting mad at Ze Maria for taking FK at the end, class.
Why are people saying Inter will get knocked out? If theres one thing i can say about Inter, its that they play at the level of their opponent, and when on form can beat any club in the world. I hope they draw PSV, who dont deserve to be in the QF, especially when class clubs like Barca and UTD are out. I cant believe people are saying Inter are sh*t, it astounds me. I dont care who any Italian clubs draw, just as long as its not eachother (but id prefer PSV, who ive mentioned before are nothing special)

Inters first goal was crap??? than what were Porto's 2 goals in this tie?? a bad goalkeeper blunder on the first, and a mad scramble poked in on the second, class goals
I really don't know why Mancini continues to start Stankovic. I could have sworn that he promised that he would bench each and any player that was off form if their was a good replacement but it seems he hasn't been true to his word. Stankovic has been abysmal and he should be benched until he can play like he use to last year. VDM on the other hand has played really well on the left. It's time Mancini benches him and uses this midfield lineup in our next game.

i dont even think they need two DM, and Veron is too slow to play on the outside. I think a pairing of Stankovic-Cambiasso-Veron-VDM would be more sucessful, and depending on the way the game goes change it.

yeah Stankovic is another one of Mancini's Lazio bum buddies....I was watching ESPN's coverage of todays game, and the commentator thinks that Stankovic has been doing great for Inter. I couldn't help but laugh, he's probably watched one Inter game his whole life

Wrong again. Baía, but especially Jorge Costa and Pedro Emanuel were the only good examples on our side and deserve the respect others don't.
The only reason why you're in the QFs is because you have one amazing striker. That is it. Too few to beat anyone but PSV.

What happend to Benni?? I knew that Adriano was gonna hit form when i was watching the Lazio match.
In the end this has been a deserved win for Inter, mainly because of the amount of chances they have created in counter-attack while we were chasing to score a goal...unlucky but, we must play much better in the future.....f'ck I miss the last 2 years

His dive to get the ball off the line was simply breathtaking, even injured he gave all he had for the team's sake...
when he came to Porto I was pissed because I hated his skills while performing for Boavista, but along these years he has proven to be a top class defender...he honours our shirt like few do and I will always be truely grateful to him due to his devotion for the club.
So..I think neither team did really deserve to remain on the CL, their football this year is not good enough to play at the highest level
