Last night I decided to end my month-long break from CM by starting a complete fresh.

I completely reinstalled CM4, then dled and applied EP5, then added the Simon Treamor update, and I must say I am ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!!!!

It is so much faster than I remember, the update is superb, and I am doing well. I started with Chelsea (the team I support, hence the C in Sir Didier*CFC, and have supported for years before anyone calls me a glory hunter or says I just started the game for the money) and it is so much fun!

I quickly knocked together a nice tactics, made some good signings (but didn't blow all my money) and have won every game so far inclunding Man Utd.

It is just so much more fun than I remembered it.

Yeah it is so much more stable and, IMO, faster.

Most of my signings were in the defense, as Chelsea are pretty kitted out up front. Lucio was my big one, costing £27m, but I think he was worth it. Other signings include Juanfran, Martinez, McNuff and Hasan Sas with Chiotis and Marcus Bent coming in January.

Only players I have sold are Makelele (good player but I hate him) and Desailly, but I have nearly sealed a deal selling Gudjohnsson for £10m.

Crespo is on fire, 17 goals in 8, including 3 hatricks. Hasselbaink is proving good aswell. Juanfran has been disappointing, but Terry and Lucio play great together and Terry's value has gone up to over £10m already. Only problem is, with Martinez there, there is no room for Gallas so I may have to sell him soon.

I have lost a couple unfortunately, but am still doing well.

I lost to Newcastle, AC Milan and, for some reason, Birmingham, but have won 90% including a 7-0 versus Monaco.

Yeah I'm really getting into it. I lost the away match against Milan which was disappointing as I will have to face much graver compititon than that to do well in the CL, but I have agreed the transfer of Pirlo which will be cool.

£75m transfer funds I think if I remember correctly.

The balance is more but it doesn't get converted into transfer funds like it did in CM01/02. Max wage for a Key Player is 95k per week I think

I find that going back to games makes them great, I started playing on Final Fantasy 7, then 8, then 9, then 10 after a ix-month lay off. My summer holidays project.

Sounds like your game is going great C!

It's not going particually well, I'm doing well the the league but in the CL groups I've been losing the games against big teams.

I'm just enjoying it alot

w00000000000000000000000000000t! I won the treble on my first season! Finished 3 points ahead of Man Utd to win the Pship, and beat Man Utd 2-0 in extra time to win the CL. The FA Cup win came via a 70 minute winner from new signing Jobi McAnuff against Tottenham following a near defeat in the semi at the hands of the mighty Cardiff.

Anyway, I am absolutely loving it!!!
