I'd prefer to play career mode. but when playing in exhibition games, I almost always achieved much better gameplay. I'd be happy if we can achieve the same effect in career mode but it is not the same. :clapwap:

it's not really a problem. it's just odd that the same AI file gives different gameplay (at least based on what I can feel). try playing a match at exhibition mode and a career mode match and you will notice the difference. :biggrinx:

There are tables in the db that control the way the game plays regardless of game mode. Example: edit the crowd noise tables, and the crowd will react the same way in both exhibition mode and career mode. So different product files for different modes aren't then required. I'm guessing here, but it makes sense that the same applies to all gameplay-specific tables in the db. I would think for example that editing the match intensity table would affect all gameplay modes the same way. I've done that db table editing already, I'll try career mode out and see if my theory here is correct.

in real life though, exhibition matches are totally different from actual season matches, so i think it kinda adds realism to the game..

thanks bro. hope you can find a way to crack it. it seems to me as if the two modes are not based on the same db, which is not likely...but what makes them behave differently if they are on the same db? i'm guessing in the career mode you have player growth,thus some db values changed? while in exhibition it uses the default db values? :-(

thats true bro. but exhibition mode in this game gives true to life build up and better gameplays while in career mode it's not. I just want the career mode gameplay to be the same as that in the exhibition mode.

Nothing to crack fifacana, the FIFA 13 tables can all be edited with DBM 12. There are career mode difficulty tuning values in the product file, could be if those were all set to some neutral value it would help fix the issue.

Another thought: I prefer balanced, even gameplay throughout the match from start to finish, so I set all the CPU ratings boost codes in the product file to 0. That includes values like emotion change, morale effects, team chemistry, and home and away effects. You have to figure that some of those values specifically affect career mode gameplay and not exhibition mode. Team chemistry would no doubt be one of them I would guess.

The gameplay is pretty good , just the same damned problem , the cpu players always faster and quicker than me . (perferct marking , faster anticipation etc etc....)
The cpu boost is really annoyng and frustrating , plus there should be more differences between good and bad teams.
That's just my opinion .

Change all these codes to these values:
CPUAI_USE_ATTRIBUTES = 0
CPUAI_USE_DIFFICULTY = 0
CPUAI_USE_MENTALITY = 0
CPUAI_USE_TRAITS = 0
CPUAI_USE_TACTICS = 0

Then, do what bangus said.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while(FIFA 12 wouldn't start:mad::rd:) I fixed it, though.
Still working on the GP; all the codes I posted before work, except those related to in-game sliders, ie. sprintspeed, acceleration, marking etc.

have you tested on fifa 13. i wounder if it works the same way as it does in 12
