How could you support more then two teams?

I don't see the fuss about supporting a team outside your area. What's the big deal? I live in Selangor but I don't support Selangor FC. Is there anything wrong with me supporting Arsenal just because I don't live in London?

Hrrm..

Atlas

Senior Squad
I support Atlas because is my childhood team from Mexico I will always support them

and I really like Liverpool thats the only two teams that I support

i only sympathize with other european teams like Barça but a real fan i'm only of Benfica. In Portugal is common a person be fan of one of the big 3 and next be fan of the club of their town.

here's my deal

i was born in Porto, so I support Boavista, the city's 2nd bigget club, i'm a "boavisteiro" since I was 5.

When I started wathing international football, abou 8, I started supporting Man United, coz I identified myself with eric cantona! I used the same haircut and loved nº 7. I later became a Beckham fan too. I allways support Man U in European Competitions (and in Premier League, of course) but Boavista is the club of my heart. The only time they played my Boavista was in 2002 (3-0 in Old Traf, 0-3 in Bessa :p) it was a great thing for me, coz my club was getting his butt kicked by the club I most respected in all europe! I watched stars like Beckham, Nistelrooy, Keane, all playing in our under-construction stadium :) we had tied twice with Liverpool in the 1st phase, and Man U was in our group on the 2nd group phase(we ended 3rd)... It was Boavista's greatest european achievment (along with 03's UEFA semis vs Celtic (i forgive u Larsson coz ur my 2nd favourite striker ;) ))

I also support 1 team per championship, the team i most identify with (from the supporters, to the colours, to the traditions to the players)

those are

Barcelona in Spain
Juventus in Italy (and I hate Roma)
PSV in Holland
Celtic in Scotland
PSG in France (only capital team I support)

I don't support any german team, but i'd like Hannover 96 to do well this season because of Ricardo Sousa...:D

I support Milan, Liverpool and my local team, Guarani, who are facing relegation. You cant call me a glory hunter, but if you have a problem with it, fine.

i think u should only be considered a gloryhunter if u changed from ur club to another one doing better

for example, as a Man U supporter (as my 2nd club, see my post in page 3), I would never change to another english club, even if we we're facing relegation to division 2...

why are you all bugging syaz_wan03? its not like hes claiming to be the biggest fan of the team he supports "at the moment" ;). so what if he switches team like pairs of socks, he isnt a bad person because of it.

I support Feyenoord, and try to follow DC United for a bit although I may be too lazy to post in the MLS thread nowadays.. Sorry Run DMB.:(

You know what the message of this thread should've been? Reveal what you are. I'd like to know where people are from and such, and frankly putting Malaysia in your location earns more point in my book for "balls" than not putting anything at all and avoiding the subject.

EDIT: I have somehow lost interest in English football a while ago. But Leeds just got me interested again, although they're in the Championship. My friend's a Leed-bred die hard supporter.

Leeds are more than the breeding club for Milner and Smith. Everyone should remember that.;)

Calm down. I didn't discriminate anyone. If you could explain the feeling of love for a team that's way out of your area. There must be a footyteam in your neighbourhood. Your complaining there's no team you can support well it's more because of you cause you don't go support them so they have no money from tickets and so the go bankrupt

What about us fans who have NO soccer team around us... and the closest one is at least 500 miles away, and thats just recently. I grew up in the US, and in my state we have no MLS team. And even before the MLS, theres the A-League and other lesser known leagues but none of those leagues have teams in my state. The closest thing I have to a "local" team is an in-door soccer team.

And I know I'm not the only person like this... which is why your post in complete BS.

I support Toluca in the Mexican league, my gradparents' team. I've actually been to the stadium, but its nearly impossible to that as often as I would like to living in the US.

i only support Athletic Bilbao.. but I love the sport, and of course I love watching the big teams play.. but I watch the games to enjoy the sport and hope for a good game.. not really care who wins or loses... although upsets are always interesting.
