As for real names ( edit ) Spain Italy and Holland are all now licenced but all the faces are there anyway and the rest of it strips faces can be edited or mod's made..

The gameplay is simply thebest!

i keep wonderin why everyone thinks that pro evo is the ultimate game i think is cuz most of them are new fans to pro evo

pro evo just no the the same on the ps2 its more brin more easy and the gameplay was better on the ps2

this year i think fifa will be better but everyone hasat got fed up with the pro evo lik i have

o now its bein relesed on x-box and pcteam lisences for internatinal teams but no player ones though. when i played that i loved it until pro evo 1 came out i got bored after a hour
it was too easy and the gameplay was the same from international superstar soccer 1 in 1996

konomi seem to live in their own world they never used to try with their pro evo games until the notice that they could get money from it

the thing i like about fifa this year is that their improving fifa 04 rather than startin from scratch

Yeah, basically EA have been making football games for 10 years and the games are still complete and utter crap. Does anyone really believe that suddenly after a decade they are going to come up with something good!?

The thing is that as long as people keep on buying their FIFA games, EA will not bother to bring in people who can program a good football game. I listened to the producer of FIFA 2004 (Danny Isaac was it?)last year in various interviews before that game came out, talking about authenticity etc. and then I played the game. I thought 'F*ck, has this guy ever even watched a game of football' because based on the game he certainly seemed to have no knowledge of it.

I was also dissapointed with Pro Evo 1 on the PS2. That was Evo 1 though. Old hat now. PES 3 is way ahead of any other Pro Evo game in terms of gameplay.

And why do you like the fact that EA are building on FIFA 2004 rather than starting from scratch. They are building on crap! Crap is not a good foundation to build on.

This is a little bit exaggerated.
Dimony – at least u may take my example as a person who buys licensed versions of the games.
I’m from Ukraine, Kiev.

Whats wrong with EA??? Are they kind of slow??!!@!? In their "New Gameplay Features" section they just put "First Touch". What the hell??? So what they were doing whole year??? For 12 month they were doing that crappy "First Touch"??? Thats it??? Cause from screens it doesnot look like they change the game a lot, same FIFA2004 look, nothing more. Is EA just lazy and were sleeping for 365 days, or they just stupid:kader: ???
I dont really know what to think :f***: Every one knows that their gameplay sucks, and they need to improve it trumendously, but they give us just "first touch":f***: Did they improve ball phisics, player movements and other aspects of game play??? If yes, why they dont alreaty tell us about this.If not, why!?!?!! Or maybe they did not have enought time or money:f***: , or they just think that their gameplay is great???:mrpimp:

If whole year for EA is not enough to change gameplay, I think that they are hopeless.

P.S. I will still buy FIFA2005, cause that what every citizen of this planet should do to keep great honor and pride of all nations alive...

WOW!! I think this release will determine the downfall or Uprising for the Fifa Series. Either it will be good or it will dissappoint. We will just have to wait and see until the release. For now its back to playing WE8

uh..first touch..I did that with international superstar soccer deluxe wayyyyy back to SNES day...

and they only have it now?

u know... FiFA team probably consists of 20 low lvl developers to add a feature a year...coz that's how u maximise profit..

suckers will still buy it ..as long as the numbers are changed and the names are up-to-date...

Obviously you did not take any care into reading my original message. In there i state quote

" ....can pretty much buy any game (pirated version of course) for about 1.25$ american. As for real versions reproduced officially by local companies they only come in a CD case(nicely pakaged however with proof of purchase and the little tiny game booklets) they are sold for around 5$ US.

So i highly doubt EA is making much money there. One of the reasons i think no teams have been inluded since the 99 edition"

I am clearly saying that people do buy the games there but usually pirated or the cheap reproduced licenced versions.
Noone buys the game in the way they come in America packaged in a box with booklets and coupons and costing about 49$.
That is a lot of money in Ukraine and Im glad that you can afford it. I am however interested where have you found such a version.

By the way the last time I was in best Eastern European country(Ukraina:p) I came away with about 15 pieces of software which would cost me around 500$ in America for about 25$ there.

P.S. Im am very sad that im unable to put Kyiv, Ukraine as my location but thats the way things are sometimes.:)

I watched these few gameplay movies on IGN and concludion is undoubtfull - it's the same ol' crap.
Same pingpong pases with no decent animation and without any variation on the pass speed, they all ping like bullets. Players still move like they're made of wood. I didn't notice any specific feel in movement of defferent players. For example, there was a Juventus v/s Arsenal match and like in previous fifas, Zidane runs with the same speed as Henry (WTF). Adden some new animations which they could better leave aside like the stepovers constantly executed by every other player with no meaningful reason at all. The pace of the gameplay is to damn fast still. Same arcady gameplay, the ball goes like bullet an player movements are as robust as in 2003/2004/euro.
I'm completely sure that EA guys are quite clueless on what actually is football and how it usually plays and feels. I seems that they have watched couple of matches, because ''boss said so'' and now have to make a simulator out of the game they understand aproximately as deep as I baseball.
I've played fifa series since Fifa 95 on the Segamegadrive console and for it's own time it vas quite good, but it seems that EA's awareness of what is the greatest game on earth hasn't improved.
Since I first got to play iss pro on PS1 I just can't bear to play EA's representation on what they think is a football game. Well, I kinda liket Fifa 98 RTWC on PS1, but it still sucked big fat balls if compared to Konami's footie sims at that time.
I think there could be an improvement if EA wasn't so greedy and took theyr time to make realy serios attempt on ''simulation of the football', not just tryeng to make ''fun'' game. We don't need fun, if we need it, we go drink some beers and make party or play GTA. What we need is realism and real life like gameplay which EA doesn't bother to acknowledge and maybe they just don't know what that would be. And my advice would be to hire some europian devs for football sims and leave ice hockey to canadians, baseball and, this eeerm... ''rugby with no rules thingy'' americans call football to them.
Just my couple of cents.:boohoo:

I think the new gameplay looks nice,i've got pes3 and it's great,but i can't wait to get fifa 2005!
i dont now, but there is somthing about the fifa games that make me buy them year after year, maybee it's the thing that it's more clubs and national teams in the fifa games,or maybee it's just a old habbit to have them!
