he has been sitting on the bench for Werder Bremen...every time they have played him as a starter or off the bench he has scored....but it looks like he will be leaving the team after the Euro tournament

He said that he wants to stay in Bremen. Since Ailton is gone he will have more chances to prove himself. He is a good striker.

Papadopoulos had 20 goals I think, he was second top scorer. He's good, but he doesn't fit in with the NT. He replaced my favourite on Pao.

I like Salpingidis better though.

Papadopoulos is only 19 give him time....I think I said this once before he will be a good player in about 3-4 years....right now he is ok.....and yes I know he won the scoring title this year but he needs more miles on his legs.....


I agree I think Salpingidis was snubbed even though he deserved a spot on the team....but that would mean leaving Nikolaidis behind.....:rolleyes: In my opinion they should have left him behind....he's playing like *ss

Yeah, he isn't doing much and the AEk players on the NT don't really like him anymore. Actually papadopulos didn't win the title, Giovanni did, but it was close. You're right though, he's going to get better. And when he does... party time for Pao.
