Sorry to bring back such an old thread...but I was banned for awhile because the mods are idiots.

I never got a chance to congradulate all the greeks in these forums... you guys played amazing and deserved it every bit. The celebrations in Turkey were amazing...

See you guys september 8th in greece for WC qualifying ;)

...and thanx ......If Rehangel stays in Greece....its going to be an interesting Qualifying tournament

I think that it would be a failure if we don't make it to the world cup. I don't except miracles again but the least we must do is to be there. Otto said "I don't know in what team i'll be coach, all I know is that I'm gonna be present in the world cup '06 !!! :rockman:

Well its been a month since the Greek triumph in Portugal.

Otto Rehangel has called up the team for its first practices since then.

The team is scheduled to play its first friendly against the Czech Republic on August 18th, in Prague.

Here is the roster of the current European Champions!!!!

So far these are the players playing abroad that have been called up.

The team is still ranked 14th in the Fifa rankings (which don't really matter and I only mention them here for no reason at all)



If one of the Mods would be so kind to change the title of the thread so that it reads

Greek National Team ELLAS ......It would be greatly appreciated and it would be one less thread about Greece that would have to be started.

The Czechs will probably beat us this time, even though its a friendly they will want revenge. But it really doesn't matter because we beat them when it actually counted for something :D

You're right......I'm sure Rehangel will be testing new players from the league.
I don't think that it will be as bad as the Holland game, it will be closer.

I really hope we just score that's all I want, one goal .......per game.;)
