Canada is becoming the laughing stock of Concacaf. All the potential in the world yet they lose to a minnow appearing in their 1st Gold Cup.
If the fooking CSA would invest more money in the infrastructure and grass roots of footy in the country maybe the team will have a chance at acheiving something, until then all the good players with European heritage as Hargreaves will choose to play for their parents countries.
Also, enough of wish wash coaches who now sod all about football, hire someone who knows his sh1t and can improve the team.

Guadeloupe is a French department, so French players with roots from Antillas can play for this team. Thierry Henry could play for Guadeloupe or Martinique! There are many good football players from West Indies (Thuram, Henry, Anelka, Silvestre, Gallas, Chimbonda, Saha...), in basket-ball too (Turiaf, Pietrus, Gelabale...)...

Angloma was a good player, but he's 42 :D

Guadaloupe scored some sweet goals, not a bad team actually. I can see them being somewhat competitive in CONACAF.. f*ckin' Canada played like crap though, I couldn't beleive my eyes, Canada taking any team too lightly.. Man, I'm so sick of the CSA...they need to make a serious commitment to the national team and actually hire a coaching staff with experience and credentials. I know the CSA is always saying they don't have money but if friggin T&T can hire a guy like Beenhakker then there's no reason why we can't either.

bah, no biggie, we'll beat Haiti and get through, even if it's as a top 3rd place team.

No matter who can play for Guadelope, there was absolutely no excuse for Canada to lose such a game. All these players think too much of themselves and try to show-off all over the place, in the end they got burned by Guadelope's diving and acting. This game should have been won in the first 10 minutes, what sucks even more is that there is not gonna be anybody to put all their egos back into place. In England at least the media can rip the team to shreads, in Canada, you will barely hear about the loss.
