There's a Holiday Inn on the quayside, this is a walk/cheap taxi from the station. Other Holday Inns are not as handy. (If your not in the quayside, I might be able to find somewhere for you to leave your bags)
Metro centre is about 10 miles from Newcastle.
I'll have a shot at naming the pub if you want - I've been to hundreds!

fingers crossed you can help me on this one, this was a picture I took in the bar/pub (couldnt really tell, too smashed!) and the date stamp is wrong btw, this pic is of a family we met there, nice bunch! bought each other a load of drinks and got bloody wrecked.

Please ID this Pub/Bar in Newcastle!

Hope one of you can identify it, I'd like to go in and suprise them, they go to every game and I think they said that is their "local" so it would be great to show up in there a year on hehe.
