First half ended. Stale game with no positive chances for either team. Hope it gets better for the next half. Ribery has almost been invisible. Forlan, Gourcouff, Sagna, Toulalan seem good. France should be ahead by the number of chances they have had. I expect them to go ahead, and win it by a one goal margin. A 2-1, or a 1-0 for me. At least, hope the game-play is more open.

I think you are underestimating the value of a coach in a team. Sure, their squad is good but so is Argentinas and they barely made it to the World Cup with Maradona. Samething with France, they only made it through because of stupid referees who weren't paying enough attention and now the Irish have to suffer for it.
