Shirt out of shorts

I saw the pictures. Not a lot of notable differences, though one think struck me: two players (one Danish and one from Argentina) are wearing their shirts out of their shorts. Know what I mean? Maybe you have to be a freak to find this cool, but I find it fantastic!

Greetz :lui:

The graphics sure are better but not this much. Also player and ball models looks slighltly better.must have one of those Super machines to run the game .

This is still a PS2 game, so don't expect much improvement in graphics. We'll have to wait for next gen for that. Let's just hope PES5 addresses some of the gameplay issues.

The graphic is good enough. Master league and gameplay is the most imporant.

Why dont they make it better for the PC then?..why do we have to play a **** port that doesnt even work properly, look at GTA SA, you dont see them doing a ****ty port from PS2 to PC, now for the PC the graphics are superb, the way it should be, and the game runs better than WE8i/PES4, says it all really.

This game must have last seasons kits then, if it comes out in August will all of the clubs reveal their new kits by then?..even so, KONAMI wont have them included, like last season they couldnt even update the transfers, bunch of lazy ****s.

I honestly doubt PES4 or 5 has reached the limits of the PS2. I think its a huge joke if you believe that.

It has reached its limits. No joke.

So what your saying is, the PES graphics are on par with GT4?..lol, bollocks.

I am sure if GT4 can get graphics like that on the PS2, so can KONAMI, so it IS a joke. :ewan:

As far as Gameplay AI and all the major parts of PES , the PS2 HAS reasched its limits! The main dev "Seabass" told you so in 2 interviews that Konami PULLED from the web!

Bottom line, he said that the PS2 had reached its limits as far as Gameplay Enigne AI the 2 main factors in the game. That is why if you look for the release so far or improvements on the web for PES5 its all about player animation ball animation weather "snow" animation, new set up as far as ML and building your own leagues, player data and training.. But the heart of the game , the gameplay physics and AI will not change..

Your player stoping mid run when the cpu player goes for a 50 50 ball with you, the pass enigne, when you aim your player at a team mate and press to pass to him and the ball goes off at an angle to one of your other players (aggh) player AI, your defenders (the ones your not controlling, running away from players they are supposed to be marking just as the cpu passes to them (by the time you put the control icon onto the defender its to late, the cpu has just got the space he needs) all that will NOT change until the next-gen game built for PS3!

New animation, [players weather effects] YES New Set Ups [ Training Leagues Menus] YES but nonthing in the way of AI Physics Gameplay!

You don't want to hear that! nor do I but its a fact of life, the PS2's life and while it can handle new animation and they can play about with player stats and leagues, Im afraid that's all they can do ... Don't believe me ... Fine with me!

But believe "Seabass" he's the one who builds the game!

That's all I want them to work on for me is the passing. Passes go to a diiferent player than the one that I wanted sometimes and it has riuned some good build up plays and chances.

Yes, it's true that the AI will not be improved to any great extent on PS2 but like MightTic says, Seabass has said that last year, so its' been common knowledge that WE9/PES5 will not see a major step forward in gameplay.

As for gfx, well this is one area where I'm not too concerned about seeing big improvements - I think they're fine in pes4/we8le and am happy to wait for PS3 before we see another leap forward, although surely they could do something about the lack of a decent camera angle in replays...it has nearly every angle EXCEPT the one that you actually want.

But I do fear that, whilst WE10/PES6 on PS3 will see more tangible improvements in AI, that the current level of scripting/cheating/cpu interference will not be decreasing, indeed, the very opposite. They have been loading up the whole AI model with ever increasing amounts of cpu cheats ever since ISS Pro 2 and I see the trend continuing in PES6, 7, 8...in fact, I don't see it ever stopping. The more freedom they give the player with new moves, etc, the more they have to add cheats to stop you wiping the floor with the cpu teams.
