Just got home and had a crack on Euro 04... Xbox version that is.

Handles better than FIFA 04, I find its somewhere between FIFA 04 and PES3... maybe a little more toward the FIFA side, but still good the none the less.

Graphically it's the best yet, and the players don't look so much like wieghtlifters as they did in the past. The lighting effects are very neat too.

The overall features are nice. You have the real fixtures, basically you'll get friendlies before, after and during your qualifiers for Euro. There are stacks of team options, formations that sort of thing, plenty of real world stadiums that look better than ever.

It's not as easy at FIFA 04, but once you master defence they never score, you just find it tough to get goals.

Overall it aint a bad game, better than FIFA 04, not quite as good as PES3, not far off though, I think Euro may have a tendancy to get boring in a few weeks, especially once Euro is over.

Graphics 9 (Top notch, best football game around)
Gameplay 7.5 (Good, but not great, still the best FIFA yet)
Sound 8 (Sounds great, chants get repetative at times though)
Value 7 (Maybe a tad short for a full priced game)
Overall 8 (Still needs some work to compete with the PES series, but definately getting very close)

It's an Australian expression, to give something a crack is to give it a go.

As for the demo, can't say I've played it, so I wouldn't know if it's better.

Even with the new game modes it's short?

Well, it is a game centered around I tournament.

I particularly disliked in the demo the ability of players to go through goal posts and through the net.

Is it still impossible to score from free kicks on "Pro" difficulty?

That's good to know. Was it once in a blue moon thingy?

I remember it was impossible to score from the edge of the penalty box with Beckham on a crappy keepr in FIFA 2004 on Pro.

can you post some screenshot or video here? since you have xbox version, is not easy to get high quality screenshot or clip...just try your best, post some team that not have in demo, like unlisence team holland.....

i have few question:
1. is it holland team player no have actual name and face?
2. cristiano ronaldo in portugal team?
3. reyes and torres in spain team?
4. c.ronaldo, reyes, torres have specific face?
5. player's attributes affect games?

for that ronaldo **** just consult the face list

for the holland **** consult the game web site, it says what teams are licensed and which one are not, including actual players and kits and ****

anyway, i bought the xbox version and the gameplay is smoother and feel is slightly better compared to the PC demo.

Same will happen in PC version from what i've heard, demo was just a playable version...

what are the goal keepers like? do the A.I attack from all over the pitch instead of just through the middle in FIFA 2004. do they get wide and use crosses?
