You may say what do they know about soccer? But I guarantee you they could do better than the guys that make FIFA. Plus look all other EA Sports games have create-a-player and an indepth career mode. I think Euro 2004 is a step up from FIFA 2004 but they are progressing too slow compared to EA's other titles IMO.....
EA staff members are constantly moving from one team to another to keep teams "fresh". You will find that many members of the FIFA team have worked on other big title EA Sports games in the past.
So what you're saying actually is happening.
And we can't really compare NBA and Madden games to FIFA. Simply because NBA and Madden concentrate on one league. FIFA has over 16, plus National teams. It all comes down to timing and what can be done in the allocated time frame. I am of course not ruling out EA ever including any of the awesome features we see in other EA Sports games in FIFA, I'm simply explaining why we haven't seen them in recent FIFA's.
