Final Premiership Qualifier?

Keegan

There are four teams left in contention for a spot in the 09-10 Barclays Premier League.

Sheffield Utd
The Blades went down in contentious circumstances (the Tevez affair) and even got some money out of it. They had a sniff of automatic promotion, but were edged out by Birmingham City.

Reading
The surprise package of the Prem a few seasons ago, they have been consistent in their challenge for a spot in the Prem for the 09-10 season. The undoubted talents of Stephen "Mike" Hunt along with his brother Noel gives them a strong chance at not only getting back to the Prem, but doing well if they get there.

Burnley
Owen Coyle's men have done very well for themselves to get into the play-offs, and they have done it playing an attractive brand of football as well. They did not get here by accident, and will be looking to go all the way.

Preston NE
Nipped in at the end of the regular season with barnstorming performances in the last few games including a crucial 2-1 win over automatic qualifiers Birmingham City and a 6-0 thumping of play-off favourites Cardiff City. Preston NE seems to be rounding into form at a dangerous point in the season for their play-off rivals.

Who do you expect to join Wolverhampton Wanderers and Birmingham City in coming up from the Championship to the Barclays Premier League?

I hope Reading.

The others are from the North and we never win there. Plus Sheff Utd will forever be associated with that insufferable Warnock to me.

I hope Burnley will make it, just because they have a Norwegian in the team. But I have a feeling that Reading will be back in the Premier League next year.

Another north west team, preferably Preston that'll make about 7 premiership club's within an hours driving from me, awesome.

Was disappointed to see Reading drop, so they're my top choice. But I like all the other teams, wouldn't mind seeing any of them in the Prem.

I'd like to see either of Preston NE or Burnley in the Prem - the other two have been there recently enough. I voted Preston, and would be interested to see if they could get this guy pictured beneath, back for a swansong season in the Prem...

Oh, Becks played there as a loanie in the 94 season, if I am not wrong.

He might play in the Premiership again but not in a Preston jersey, may be Spurs one? Now way.

Becks is reported as being interested in buying a football club, and Preston is reported as being interested in being bought by Beckham - so not as unlikely as you may think.

Senior Squad
Sheffield United is the last team i want to see in the Premiership. I think Reading will win it, but i'm supporting Preston.

Advantage Burnley, they defeated Reading 1-0 in the first leg. Reading lost first-choice defender Andre Bikey to a red card as well. Sheffield United rescued the tie in snatching a draw with Preston NE. Still a toss-up as to who will get to Wembley!
