Ronaldinho is a crybaby and so is Henry. Their behaviour really makes the game soccer look like a sport for pansies. I just wanna go up to them one day and say stfu and play soccer, after getting their autographs of course. But talented they are.

Zidane will get it. Some dumbasses from Sri lanka and cambodia, china, japan, and the rest of the asians will vote him followed by some english player like beckham who doesn't even deserve to be on the list (disgrace at euro).

In my opinion, which of course doesn't matter, I think a player who has played well, shows the true characteristics of a soccer player on and off the field, sportsmanship should get this award.

Well Make an Award for Sportsmanship this award is for the BEST Footballer this year not for the sportsmanship

Ronaldinho scores goals for Brasil, and many assists.
I dont think Henry has even scored in a qualifier yet.

Deco wasn't so brilliant this year like in the year Porto won the UEFA Cup but we have to consider all the titles he won and how important he was in Porto's team and also in the portuguese NT to reach the Euro 2004 Final, he's definitely one of the biggest favourites to win this award.

He's our 2nd top scorer in the qualifiers, got almost 20 goals for the NT overall playing from midfield, that in about 40-50 apps. Henry is ****e at the NT, you cant deny it. In the other hand Ronaldinho performs well most of the time for Brazil. 1 goal and 1 assist in the last 2 games.

These awards are a bit of a joke its meant to world player of the year , but what it really comes down to is past reputation , thats why Zidane and Ronaldo have dominated it. Id take them about as seriously as fifas world rankings.

Wayne Rooney is my favorite to win the award. Rooney was great in the EURO 2004.
