The fact that SEVEN real madrid players are in there shows how knowledgable the nomination commitee is.
I dont care what happend at Euro's, Totti was one of if not the best player in Serie A last season, so him not being there is stupid. I dare any of you to say that all 50 of those players deserves it more than him.
Adriano is the best player in the world, so naturally he should win it. If Sheva or Ronaldinho won it, id have no problems.
Deco will win it though

I watched all of EURO 2004, and I don't even know who the hell Theodoros Zagorakis is.

The Euro tournament is the BIGGEST tournament IN THE WORLD other than the World Cup. Did you know that?
So since there was no WC this year, that makes the Euro Cup the biggest tournament of 2004.
And Zagorakis was the MVP of the Euro Cup. Did you know that?
...then why are you so surprised that he is at least considered among the top 35 players of the year?
Nobody is saying he deserves to win the FIFA Player of the Year award, but doesn't he at least deserve to be among the top 35?

I agree with you, it's the 2004 season and at least one greek player should be on there. I'm still wondering what they did with Ailton. I mean Ballack and Kahn didn't do sh** all year, they didn't even win one trophy. Ailton won 2 and lead the Bundesliga in scoring, not to mention he was voted player of the year in the Bundesliga, so why would you put Kahn and Ballack on the list but not him? This has gotta be a joke.
