my only problem with headers in fifa is that they always stand still and head it.

i think they should be running up and jumping to head the ball.

for those who play pes i think you know what i'm talking about. I think a run and jump for the loose ball would really add realism.
its kind of messed up to watch the guy deliver a perfect cross every time to the guys head. Even if its perfectly at head level (which doesn't happen often) he should run up to gain momentum and stuff. and even if its right at him (not likely as well) he should have to jump up to make contact with the ball, but still jump a bit forward.

tell me if you agree with me.

did anyone else notice that in that video an arsenal defender ran right into a milan attacker with the ball (didn't look like he used the tackle button) and dislodged the ball from him? if thats what happened its a great added feature.

I thought it looked good. One great thing is that the first touch will now allow us to actually get some separation between you and the defender. It looks like you can really make splitting runs through the defense using pace. Just look at Gilberto's run early in the clip. Or the way Henry uses the ball to send in the cross to Pires.

I don't think he is playing on a high level, and yet look at how easily the CPU built up to Shevchenko hitting the post, they passed right through him. They even employed back passing.

The only concern is the ease of his scoring, but I am betting he was on a lower level. On the first goal by Pires, the defenders don't exactly attack the ball to clear it do they. They just seemed to stand back and let him have it. But he seemed to know how to play the game pretty well. I am betting he just wanted to show some goals so he put it on a lower level.

That was amateur, i hope, the defenders seemed like statues, something i notice is that when you make a goal those banners appear in the middle in the screen maybe they should appear in the bottom of the screen better.

What's your concept of arcadish? :o
1. unrealisticly fast running and passing
2. when shooting on goal ball flies like bullet no matter who shoots or what pressure is applied to attacker
3. constant succesfull stepovers and fancy dribbles by everyone on the pitch (circus)
4. goals every 30 seconds,
5. perfectly precise passes by everyone everytime
6. such a large open areas on the pitch where you can run or pass
7. stupid lame defending from both sides, there's no real pressure on attacking side whatsoever, looks like some amateur league
8. the whole pace of the game, it's too damn fast. it looks about the same pace as in EA's NHL series, but this is football you know.
If you ever watch real football matches you should've known.

Pires doesn't stand still when he heads the ball in.

i know, it that looked a lot better.

i'm talking about euro and fifa 04 where they just stand still and head it, or they jump straight up....

1) not sure i agree with you, henry L-berg (dont want to massacre his name:p ) and most rest of arsenal (and milan for that matter) are fast.

2) i sort of agree with you. I would like a system where the shoot button is pressure sensitive. The harder you press the harder the shot, the longer you hold the higher...

3) once again, arsenal and milan are both very talented teams. henry L-berg, reys shevchenko, ect. are all talented players. i hope they have unique and player specific moves and bad players cant do moves that well.

4) i think that was just because it was on a low setting.

5) here i agree with you, i think the crosses deffinately need to be fixed. They should vary on accuracy depending on who crosses it. and it still shouldn't always go to the player.
in this case though, talented players (henry and l-berg) took the cross....

6) i think that was fine

7)once again, i think that was because of the low difficulty setting

8) of course the game would be faster than real football as you only have about 10 minutes to do what you normally would in 90, so in theory the game should be 9 times faster than it is in real life....

for people who want to slow it down i hope that there is an option to change the speed setting in the game.

There is always an option to slow down the pace of the game and there is also an option to turn off assisted crossing, so that crosses are not always so accurate. Again, I think that a lot of this is due to the game being played on a lower level. And they already said that not all players would be able to pull off the dribbling skill moves. I mean it wasn't happening all over the field, just Henry and Ljungberg, and I would say that is quite realistic, both of those players are heavy on the skill moves. Passing is too easy, that is why I only use the manual pass, where you have to power up, unless I am really close to the man I am passing it to.

Ea Lied!!

Hrjove will tell you all soon, he'll tell you all how he got the producer DIARY 4, YES 4 video ALREADY! The questions that are been answered, for what we thought was each month, was uploaded before diary 3 was released...wonderful. Isaac even says "thanks for sending in your questions this month", or something along those lines...

The movie goes into A.I, players skills, the database, the career mode and the crowd chants...

It even claims the demo will be out next month.

why did EA claim to be answering our questions...when our questions have already been answered?!

Hrvoje discovered this movie, give him all praise for this find.

Huh, the first goal of Inter seemed a bit strange, very strange. Meh they didn't get Real Madrid numbers' font back. Is it me or Valencia numbers are white while their kit is white too? :kader:
