Regarding OTB. I the version I played you could have complete control of the person you controlled with the right analogue. It looks like this has changed though. Unfortunate.

90% of the runs players make are diagonal eh? and u got that from where? i'd really like to see your source cos i've been watching (and playing football) since 9-10 year old and the predominant type of run is straight forward - down the wings, or central, yes diagonal runs are often used too but to say that people do em 90% of the time is such a wild statement it's not even true
and either way the point Hrvoje is obviously making, and some people are acting as if they dont get it, is that players don't just run diagonally , forward, left or right - obviously they often change the direction of their run - for different reasons - when they see a better openning and so on....
So it's very easy to gang up on Hrvoje, act the fool and try to sound clever - but to me - he's making a perfectly valid point ---> :clapwap:

well lets see,.,, at first Hrjove said that players only run left-right, south-north.. then I pointed out that the run in the movie is diagonal.. and then he said that no one runs diagonal in real life... I have always been coached as a forward that when you make runs onto space.. you always go from the middle towards the sideline.. or from the sideline towards the middle.. making a diagonal move.. because you get the advantage that way... if you make a run straight up when the defender is next to you, the advantage is for the defender...
