Starting XI
the new movies look good, but I think the passing is too accurate and the defenders hold off the attackers too long...

It doesn't look as if the attacking team is really pressured, but rather more blocked off from passing any where they want...stopping someone from passing in a certain direction isn't pressuring them, it's just tactics...

I hope the demo shows more, because although I can see the improvements, nothing has blown me away. :(

Then again, PES3 videos never blow me away, but when I played it 3 times (the demo) at GAME, I was blown away!! But although this is a multimedia thread, let me just say that everytime a shot was taken, the game paused for a split second and the 5star CPU is very accurate in front of goal, but I am rubbish. :crazyboy:

Oh well, I hope fifa04 is great!

Nick.

As today i was informed, i'll get Free Copy of FIFA 2004 from Aloritam (Croatian Distributer of EA Games) :D! Thanks god i will not pay any cent + i'll go to try game for 10-15 days at press release in Zagreb (capital town of Croatia)

Anyway movies didnt impressed me to much cause you cant control player in space (OTB Control) where ever you want, yu can just control in up down left and right as i saw....

anyway get new movie from EA France, movie show some new goals, new dribbling and you can hear new music! there are some france lang. texts so i didnt understant it, here is the link for movie :)

Probably you've seen only second OTB tutorial. And you're talking about L1 control. In first one there is L2 control showing - you take full control on player...

Wait a minute. Now i've rewatched a "video.mpg" (old movie from fifaesp.com. there was a ps2 pad with blinking buttons) and reread Matt's preview. In both of them there was RIGHT side-buttons associated with OTB.
So mb there are several OTB control modes?

90% of the runs onto space are diagonal... and you dont have to run always diagonal.. stop changing what you said earlier... first you say you can only go left-right-north-south... now you say always diagonal.. is better if you dont say anything if you obviously havent played much real footie.. you would know that most of the runs made by forwards onto space are always made diagonal.
