Update. Got it working BUT had to uninstall, lose all my frickin saved games and such and re-install FIFA.

I'm not exactly sure what was wrong. I've installed a couple of other patches already and changed settings and such. Maybe there was a conflict someplace.

ok here's my opinion. I havent noticed ANY difference in the gameplay, except that the cpu puts together good passes, shoots from outside the box(btw every shot they attempt goes in), cpu defense slide tackles like a rookie that just started playing soccer, completely impossible to beat and have a shot on goal outside the box. GK i see a little bit of improvement when it comes to tackling players, but still easy to score on, no improvement there. Free kicks are EXCATLY the same as before, and if i am correct kashif did say that they where gonna be harder and different then from before. Ball physics, louder chanting, more powerful ground shots and all that....still the same as before. Most importantly, now i am unable to play online due to this patch, because as soon as i connect to play vs some1, our connection goes down, which i never had a problem with b4 i installed this patch. Also few times while i played the games, it would crash and send me back to desktop, which is not fun at all. Overall i think this patch was a waste of time for u to make(for some 2 months or so) because i see no improvement at all, and i'd rather play the original fifa then this crap. Overall, i give this patch 2/10 , just for the effort u put in it, nothing else.

Hey Guys. It's really hard for me to see any reason why you guys are having problems with the patch. I have not edited any setting which changes the language of the game, disable online matches etc... I've just edited the gamplay!!!

Secondly i'm not unhappy about your guy's comments because it will bring the best out of me... So go on with the criticism but FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE PLEASE DON'T SAY I WASTED MY TIME COZ YOU SHOULD BE WISE ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT IT'S MY FIRST PATCH FOR FIFA. THE ONLY WAY NOW IS TOWARDS BETTER GAMEPLAY. THE GAMEPLAY WON'T GET ANY WORSE THAN THE ORIGINAL...

Just keep the above CAPED lines in mind when you comment. And also i'd like you guys to please at least play 5 games before you actually comment.

Something i'd also like to add:
-Freekicks are harder near the red mark. WHen you reach there, you're shots will mostly hit the post, narrowly miss etc.
-Ball Physics IS better. Shot's are much faster... You can score from out of the box. READ THE DESCRIPTION PLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEASEEEEEEE...
-DID NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES THAT MAKE ONLINE PLAY NOT WORK!!!

Maybe you should try reinstalling fifa. IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SAVED GAMES, MAKE A COPY OF YOUR FIFA 2004 FOLDER IN MY DOCUMENTS... REPASTE IS BACK WHEN YOU HAVE REINSTALLED THE GAME. That's it!!!

I haven't played online yet, but i think the patch is a good improvement on the previous game, imo the cpu passes the ball round better and make more cutting passes, i also think the ref playing advantage is also a lot better, and the keeper and the defence is also harder to break down. all in all a good improvement all round in my opinion.
Keep up the good work mate.

This may sound petty but is there any chance of a patch so that IF I win a competition I could see a cup/trophy for my efforts, as ea have decided that this is no longer important. if you could do that it would be good.

I tried the patch, and it's ok, I'm not sure I prefer this than the original fifa. it does feel better but the gameplay is way too fast

If you thing the game is tooo fast then PLEASE READ THE README FROM THE START MENU.... It will help you in slowing down the game....

Hey Kashif ..... Good work dude .... I agree with johnnymac .... the patch is makes the game tougher. The CPU keepers are a lot better as well and the CPU has much more cutting passes as well as they move very quickly.

I believe you did a very good job at making this patch and on behalf of all of us who found your patch to be an improvement thank you very much and keep up the good work.

Maybe one of the slight flaws are that even though the refs play advantage majority of the time they should call a foul for some of the more serious sliding tackles. These hapen mostly just ouside the box and even though the ball is deflected one of your players it is very quickly taken away because the CPU defense is tight around the box. So if u look at the bigger picture there really isn't much of an advantage. So maybe for the sliding tackles around the box the ref could call fouls and not play advantage.

Just a suggestion. Overall ... great work and I give it a 7/10.
