First off many people are having trouble with Mod Manager. Use the Editor to launch the game. Second, when you launch the game via the Editor, it will go directly into the game and the game will start up. That's how you tell if the mod is active.
If it does not go directly into the game -- if the EA launch box comes up instead and you have to launch the game manually -- it means you are missing the files required to launch the modded game. And so the game will only load the default files and not the modded files, which is why you are not seeing the modded files in-game.
but o launch the mod should i have to open fbproject?
