I have the same problem as this user though when I try to open your .fbproject file:



Does anyone know how to properly access .fbproject files with FrostyEditor that were created by someone else?

I guess we have to wait for the updated Frosty tools. He said the next version will fix those problems which will probably come out next week.

Yeah, looks like it. Meanwhile, it would be great if you could show us the influence and score values from your simsettings.ini. I'm really looking forward to your settings for increased goal counts and more diversed league tables, they looked great on your reddit screenshots!

Can you update us when they release a fix? I forget to mention that this patch might saved fifa for me so personally i want to thank you for this patch.

for me the mod doesn't work
like the mod of frisgon i launch the game with frosty mod manager with the mod but when i launche the career i see that the mod doesn't work because i don't see the overall of all players (All player stats/abilities revealed.)
someone can help ?

First off many people are having trouble with Mod Manager. Use the Editor to launch the game. Second, when you launch the game via the Editor, it will go directly into the game and the game will start up. That's how you tell if the mod is active.

If it does not go directly into the game -- if the EA launch box comes up instead and you have to launch the game manually -- it means you are missing the files required to launch the modded game. And so the game will only load the default files and not the modded files, which is why you are not seeing the modded files in-game.

Doesn't work unfortunately. The game does not crash and you can sign as many players as you want but those new players aren't being added to your youth squad. Instead they just disappear if you have 16 players already.

If it is someone else's mod, all you have to do is load the project/mod, then launch it. If you are having issues launching it, try this:

1. Save it, then try to launch.
2. If it does not launch, edit something in the mod, then save, then try to launch.

I had an issue when transferring my mod from one PC to another PC, it would not launch in the second PC. I did step #2 and then it launched. Why did it work? I do not know, all I know is it is now working.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, the problem with the .fbproject is not launching, but opening the mod. Another user already posted the error message:
Why are you trying to edit someone else's project? Other editing tools in games (golf course files for example) do not allow you to edit someone else's project. That's normal.

It shouldn't be normal that it throws an error when opened, should it? As the creator decided to publish his project file, this obviously means that he's okay with other people viewing and using his changes to the game.

And even though it doesn't really matter, but just to be clear. I edited a lot of the career mode ini files for myself, but I still couldn't get as good results regarding match simulation as TheAwesomeGen. But since I personally don't like every aspect of his mod features, I would be glad if I could use only the parts of it for my game that I really like. So there you have my motivation for all this.

All I can say is wait for the next Frosty Tools update which should come out soon.
They're asking you to upload your backup/project files. They think that's what it will take to open your mod so they can edit it further. If you don't want to upload your files, or if you don't want people to edit your files (would be my choice), you should just say so, otherwise they'll plug up this thread with continuous requests.

i don't want to edit his files , but like in the mod of frisgon only if we load the projectt we can use the mod this thread not needed because nobody can use this mod

I never used Frosty, if someone can teach me how to use it ? I mean, It wants a key to use the tool.
So I don't know how to install this very interesting mod to my fifa.

The patch version for this is 1.02. I have no issues on Windows 10 64 Bit on Patch 1.02. However, if I move to Patch 1.03, it won't load.
